ok i seem to think that you (mullet) and him (digispirit virus) have different meanings of original
what nullet means is it's been created by someone it's not yours you didn't create it
however digispirit's term of original is you modified the deck that's not yours therefore making it original

Ravager? Man that's unoriginal as heck...ANY VARIATION I've seen of ravager is still unoriginal. What DEFINED ravager in the first place was original: Slobad Affinity (yes, that was the original, before PT:Kobe). Then the first ravager was original, then everyone started copying it and modifying it. I think I've seen every variation like I did with Wake and Psychatog (funny how UG Madness really didn't have much change. lol). I mean, if I don't have presence in my slide deck (I've never seen a slide deck running wakes, presences, and Akromas other than mine. lol), I'd hate it too.

My point of original: it's okay if you have the basic idea of the deck from someone else, but you should make something along with the basic idea to make a new deck that is similar but different from the original deck.

An example of this: change of slobad affinity to ravager affinity, creature slide from full slide, wake slide from creature slide, goblin bidding from regular goblin, beatstick deck from UW control, etc.

But not: ravager affinity to another ravager affinity, full slide to a slightly different full slide, etc.

Yeah, still quite vague. Oh well. :P

True. Pro Tour games last over 30 minutes at minimum (the shortest ever was 20 minutes). So I don't doubt that you think it takes too long. However, casual games don't seem like that, as you don't need to use half of the phases there are.

ANYWAY, back on the topic of anti-yata...Yeah, I'm still anti-yata. And Raigeki is too cheap. And everyone should mod decks to comply with the bans. :P
 
i've decided that next year i will join the regionals
 
Okay. Then remember to buy the player's guide for Kamigawa. Remember that the most obvious winning deck will be the least obvious one that you see when you look through the guides.

As usual, build at least 6 or 7 different decks on T2, taking reference from block constructed builds from Mirrodin (well you should know them by now, but you'll need to research more on what is the BEST, although it doesn't seem as clear-cut as last year's) and Kamigawa (if any). Well, I'm sure you know these tips already. lol
