I saw somebody on here use an Armaldo I think, so I threw this together, joined and am getting it rated.

    Armaldo (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Battle Armor
    EVs: 244 HP / 32 Atk / 136 Def / 96 SDef
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Hidden Power [Bug]
    - Knock Off
    - Rock Slide

Okay, I want this to be able to take some blows without dying. I don't have a physical sponge really, so this will have to do. Knock off is fun if they switch in Weezing or whatever and you get rid of those lefties.

    Ampharos (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Static
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SAtk
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Counter
    - Hidden Power [Ice]
    - Thunder Wave
    - Thunderbolt

Counter and high defense for taking out non-STAB'd EQ'ers, HP ice for Salamence and such.

    Aerodactyl (F) @ Choice Band
    Trait: Rock Head
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Double-Edge
    - Earthquake
    - Hidden Power [Flying]
    - Rock Slide

    Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry
    Trait: Inner Focus
    EVs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd / 28 SDef
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Brick Break
    - Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Hidden Power [Flying]

I really would like this to work. Speed and nature are such that you can outspeed Jolteon in one DD

    Walrein (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Ice Beam
    - Roar
    - Surf
    - Yawn
Roar for CM waters, yawn for other crap and two STAB moves. Defense and HP for sponging Salamence (can you tell I hate it yet?) and taking it out

    Breloom (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Effect Spore
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Brick Break
    - Leech Seed
    - Mach Punch
    - Spore

Couldn't decide on a last move, so thought I'd try seed. Gar kills this anyways, with or without HP Ghost. Mostly anti lax and such, maybe Blissey.

So RMT and whatnot please. Is there anything I've obviously missing? Like a huge weakness to a certain (type of) Pokemon?

what the heck 4 HP? i'd give it a 5/10
He means the boosting. Like, out of all the EVs, only 4 goes to HP.

Hmm, why not replace either Brick Break or Mach Punch with Focus Punch since you can spore the opponent first?

Armaldo- ditch the sp.def (it won't do you any good really) for more attack power, so earthquake and HP Bug will be much better. May want to consider rapid spin somewhere if you're feeling up to it. Also, Armaldo is terrible against Weezing. Knock off all you want, Weezing still heals off of you with pain split, and still refuses to die as long as it got will o wisp charged up.

If you really want it as a tanker, also try considering counter.

Amphy- I'll shift some def to reinforce the high hp to help out counter...

    Aerodactyl- standard

Dragonite- I *hate* Dragonite if its moveset can be shifted to Salamence directly, because really Salamence will excel in comparison to Dragonite when the same moveset is stuck on both dragons... Dragonite's strength lies in the fact that it is the only Pokemon (besides ubar Mew) to do subpunch/boltbeam combo, which is a moveset I'll strongly recommand for abuse. After reading a few articles, I personally find that Dragonite is by far the best anti-tank-anything Pokemon with the mentioned sub/focusp/tbolt/ibeam moveset, and a specific EV setup too.

Walrein- surf+ice beam = old and no longer usable. Best to take out surf (keep ice beam if you hate Salamence so much) for a HP Special.

Breloom- HP Ghost isn't for Gengar, but for Dusclops and Claydol, so use it anyway. Focus punch over brick break too for spore abuse. Also I've never seen a Breloom survive an attack, so I'll rather get quick claw for some hax spores in desperate times.

I kinda meant if I caught it on the switch with Weezing. Will take your advice about the EVs though. I don't like too much utility with rapid spin

Shift it from special attack? Ampy is nice in that a lot of things not weak to electric still get hammered

That'd be a really weird EV distribution, but…I guess it might be worth a shot. Would like to read the articles if you could link me to them, in the mean time I'll work with it and see how it goes

No surf? Isn't that kind of risky esp. since fire can put up a decent fight on it? Don't really see which HP would serve it better than surf.

Ahh, point. HP ghost over Leech Seed? Also noted about the item on the Breloom.

Thanks for the advice so far all!

Well actually, Dragonite is taking out EVs from *SPEED* on purpose, so that you're slower than my other sweepers so that you can always pull off a sub for subpunch if you need it, yet still faster than tankers, Breloom and Weezing so your sub can block incoming spore and will o wisp. I believe that the EV setup is in atk, sp.atk, minor speed (but with a speed decrease nature). Dragonite for me is extremely difficult to use, because the EV setup is always irregular, not the easy-friendly 252/252/4 setup that most people are used to. Articules are just gamefaqs stuff, and then the forums from netbattle/gamefaqs again.

Walrein without surf will be fine... exactly what fire types are actually used anyway? Blaziken is a physical attacker anyway, making Houndoom your only enemy really (rare Charizards here and there, but you got ice beam again then, or better, Armaldo.) No Pokemon can ever do it all anyway, and it's better to get a moveset that leaves you completely vulnerable to Houndoom, rather than being vulnerable to all those water types like Lanturn/Lapras/Milotic/Swampert/Starmie/a lot of other stuff out there. And personally, I mix sweep Walrein a bit myself. EV has to be split yet, but having both rock slide and ice beam gives you a x2 edge over a fair amount of OUs.
