Okay, I wasn't sure where to put this, but. In the Manga section of this website, I post pictures, and, I have just come across my damn pictures at answers.com. How I know? Because the stupid morons didn't even change the name of my pictures. Gold_Pose-6, etc.

You don't have to be a genies to know they stole from me. But. Do I see any credit? Did they even ask me? No, they didn't. I don't know who did it. But I demand that they are taken off straight away.

I tried. But there is no thing like "emial me", or "contact us". I don't blame the webmaster. It is a fanwebsite. Fans submit their own stuff to them. Uh... As far as "their own" can go. It was clearly some bastard who thought; "ow. I'll submit my stuff! Ow! But I'll just take a few pictures from this album! Like this one which has lots of pictures from the Manga! Who cares who really got the pictures!". For the love of god, I am so angry!

I would suggest registering for wikipedia and editing them out yourself. I think they allow the public to do some editing if I remember correctly.

From reading everyone's post, they seem to have no idea on how Wikipedia works or is. If I was you, I would really worry too much about it. If you want the picture gone, then just register an account and replace the picture with another one. But really, calm down, this happens all the time with pictures on the internet. If this was a hand drawn picture, then you have a right to be angry, but since it was a scan, you shouldn't get too worried over it.

wikipedia is too big to be deleeted. they would probably sue if you did that. unfortunatly, you didnt make the images, you just scanned them, so you really dont have much of a case.

you can always remove them from WP yourself, its not hard, since anyone can edit anything.

Wikipedia, if you'd read the FAQs and such, is a user editable encyclopedia. As such, the person who uploaded it is responsible (one Fullmoonforever). You can't blame the wikipedia itself or the foundation that runs it.

I suppose you could try reporting it to a sysop, as it probably breaks the upload requirements, as listed on the upload page.

And I have to say, I hardly think you can get too worked up over it, as it's not actually your image, per say. It's an image you, I believe, cut from a larger image. That doesn't make it yours, but it, because it's not a freely-redistributable image (covered under the GNU FDL or another free licence, like Creative Commons) since Nintendo et al. own all the copyrights for Pokemon, it still breaks the requirements for wikipedia images, just not entirely because you cropped the image yourself.

Okay. Then why the hell can the great serebii get angry when people take his pictures? He didn't draw them, either. He just ripped his pictures. And he gets a bunch of suck ups feeling sorry for him. So, howcome it's okay for him to be angry, and not me? Since it is, I'll be putting some other people's scans and rips on my site without asking or giving credit. And no one can say anything bad about it, right?

Did I say I was blaming the website? I said I blamed the person who stole it, if you were listening. It's not the webmaster's fault some of his fans are dirty thieves, is it?

I found out who did it. Fullmoonmidnight, or something. And she yelled at me for changing her profile (I changed the profiles of Red-Yellow to better ones. Why let her take credit?). As soon as I master the message replying thing, I'll have a few things to say to her.
