ok i know this has probably been done a million times before, but its a fun topic, and i figured some of the popular ones are getting kind of long and noone posting anything remembers the the starting pages, so theres a lot of repeating going on, i hope this helps :)
kicking it off i think most species of animals are covered in the pokemon world, thus mythilogical creatures will be the most fun to talk about, the ones i know of that have been done are anubis-lucario, hydra-hydregion (not sure i spelt that right)
so, i dont think a centaur has been done, arceus aparantly is comparible, but i imagine a centaur with 2 legs and 2 arms etc
also im certain a scylla hasnt been done, which is essentially a hydra, but it swims
real animals i dont think have been done are dolphins, im sure they havnt ill have to think though :) its really hard actually thinking them up :D so dolphins are all i have right now, im also thinking manitees, or narwhals, but narwhals might have been done. i think black and white have covered alot of pokemon fans have been desperate for such as a polar bear :)
well thats all ive got :P

well theres loads of legends, some are pretty different but based upon the same thing, i personally have HEARD a story of a scylla which sounded like an aquatic hydra, i think its a matter of opinion :)
hmmm yeah i guess dewgong is, i can imagine just a blue miltank with fins lol :P
also what about a kraken? or that 3 headed dog thing, im not sure any of those have been done

lol there's only one Scylla and she's from Greek myth. She used to be a naiad (kind of like a water fairy, but Greek; spawn of Oceanus), but then she got poisoned by Circe (she's bad news). The poison made her mutate and gave her six heads, six tentacles, and six dog heads on her waistline. I can see how this makes her like a hydra! However, the hydra was a dragon born from Typhon (the father of all beasts) that originally had one head, but whenever you cut its head(s) off, two more would spawn from its spot! Similar, but not quite the same.

I'm going to be a Classics major, so you can ask me about Greek / Roman stuff any time, 'kay?

Though, be sure to post in that other thread about this topic.
    Welcome again :)

oh well congratulations, you 1-upped a 14 year old lol, the only greek mythology i know i leanred from age of mytholigy the game :D
but still theres many versions of the same thing you know, its the same with everything, greeks pictured a dcylla like that maybe a historical game of chinese whispers occured and now a different nationality hears scylla and thinks something totally different

No matter how many times I read your post, I can't seem to find the intoduction, which means I'll have to report this thread.
I really hope that the mod choose to move this thread instead of just locking it.
Remember to read the rules before you post a thread ;D

I think that thread (Gymnotide already linked it, it seems) is similar enough to what you're looking for. It's for "Pokémon you'd like to see next" so put discussion there. This forum is only for forum introductions and how-do-you-dos.
