Real Deck of defeat.

......1 Decree in 8 traps...?

...Interesting monster layout...

Exchange of the Spirit is going to rock the meta...as is Pot of Avarice.

The Decree is easy to explain, I know when to play it. Thanks for the compliment.

I give 3 weeks before 70% of people who play avdanced format say Pot of Avarice is a staple.

Pot of Avarice IS a staple, but no more than 1. It's a good thing to sidedeck another one though to fight Exchange of the Spirit.

Nah... it will help because

You will hardly find a chance to use Pot of Avarice against an Exchange of the Spirit deck, because they will not knock out your monsters. You won't have 5 monsters in your graveyard. Possible through the Morphing Jars, Cyber Jar and Card Destruction though, but when you see a setup like that, are you seriously going to use the Pot of Avarice now? It's pretty obvious what's coming... Just set it face down and prepare for Exchange of the Spirit. Use it after the trap is used in order to refill your deck just by a bit, and hope that those monsters will be enough to dash out high damage before spell reproduction/Magician of Faith recycles Card Destruction against you.

With only a reasonable amount of common sense necessary, Pot of Avarice can help.

So you won't even get a chance to use it. There for it doesn't help.:\

Staple: A card that helps every deck. Does Pot of Avarice helps Gravekeepers? no it does not. It more like a semi staple.

I am thinking of adding Tyrant Dragon, should I?

Pot of Avarice is the opposite of pot of greed, Pot of Greed is useless in only when one time in the game, when it's the last card in your deck of a duel. Pot of Avarice is best at that time.

No......it DOES help. You can have it face-down and use it AFTER Exchange of the Spirit is used to get back 5 of the monsters that were thrown out (Jinzo, Cyber Dragon, etc). If that doesn't seem like a good thing to you, then your definition of a "good thing" needs to change..

Yes I know that. That's if it's in your hand and the deck and graveyard wasn't switched, cause if it's switched when it's in the deck, too bad, so it's part luck.:\

With that thinking, all cards in the world are useless against Exchange of the Spirit, because trap jammer/seven tools of the bandit/royal decree MAY still be in the deck when the exchange is being done, making all of them useless.

Let's just surrender at the sight of an Exchange of the Spirit deck then ._.;

I'm very sure that they consider Call of the Haunted a staple trap, but I'm also pretty sure that Exchange of the Spirit will not bother with that one at all... *GASP* Nothing is a staple in the world if Call of the Haunted isn't a staple! GASP!

(well... maybe not Raigeki, Mystical Space Typhoon, Harpie Feather Duster, Monster Reborn and Pot of Greed according to that definition. Actually, not sure about Raigeki/Monster Reborn since Exchange of the Spirit may not need them either...)

This is going a little offtopic of the topic of the thread.

I have been thinking of adding some cards that can be summoned quickly, like Giant Rat ot Nimble Mongara, Peten the Dark Clown(Yes' I know the rulings)

I am also thing of playing more offensive traps.

What do you guys think.

Magician of Faith. End of story.

Zaikiro: go with Giant Germs and Nimble Momongas to go with Pot of Avarice (hahahah!!), but try staying away from Peten...

I was thinking of using GraveKeepers, but that's not really reliable and is netedcking, sorta. Using Giant Rat is good.

I challenge the use of Brain Jacker, Confiscation, and Trap Hole.

-1 Trap Hole
-1 Confiscation
-1 Brain Jacker

+2 Creature Swap
+1 Silent Swordsman LV3

BTW, is that Granmarg the ROCK Monarch or another Mobius?

My mistake. Why SS. Lv 3 is I have only 1 Lv 5? Even though it's effect helps.

Trap Hole is a good card and really underrated, Barin Jacker is good also. I do understand Creature Cwap though.

Brain Jacker isn't that good--if attacked, it doesn't go through...you're better off with a basic flip effect like Man-Eater Bug...OR Cyber Jar. I can't believe I overlooked that......

I know, but I would want to give it a try. I may reconsider it.
