Realian Strike (An Xenosaga based RP)

After we exited the elevator, a man approached us from inside a room alongside the hallway. He was dressed very officially, sporting the wear only fitting for a captain. Positioned on his hat was the logo for Vector, the company that manufactured Realians, and they were supposed to be the only ones who could perform operations such as mind wipes.

"So, what do we have here? A group of Realians, and a cyborg?" The man asked as he glanced over a group, before whispering something to a crewmember, sending him off. "It seems you've run into a few problems. Please, come with me, I'd love to hear what happened, and assist you if possible."

"Immediate reaction: Possible danger. Partial alert mode activated." the robotic part of me read, though not aloud. I watched the others, planning to do only what they told me, or led me to do. After all, anything that resulted immediatly became thier fault, or my accomplishment. Wasn't that hard, at all...

I shifted slightly, TALI seemed to be getting heavier by the minute. "Sure, it'd be an improvement over what's happened to us so far." I said, finally setting TALI on the ground for the moment. I was getting tired of lugging her around. "I think she'd be the best person to ask if you wanted answers," I said, indicating the snoozing TALI. "Once she wakes up, of course..."

"Hmm... A 100-Series Observational Realian... And there are two of them?" The captain asked as he whispered to a door, which then opened, another 100-Series coming out. She was dressed similar to me, only everything blue was pink, including her hair, and her face was the same as SORA's, and myself. "This is KARI, I'm sure she could help your 100-Series get to know the ship later on if they wanted."

I grunted softly as I opened my eyes, to find myself staring at a wall. "Where... am I?" I muttered as I sat up on my knees, and wobbled onto my legs.

I was still on alert, both my human and robot brain attempting to draw conclousions, but reaching none. There was nothing to prove that they intended no harm, yet there was no proof that they had guns pointed at us. I was on the brink, and it didn't help that I felt like something in my cyborg body was about to falter again...

"I mean no disrespect to you," I began, "But I really have no idea where we are." I said, and began to explain how we had woken up in that place, most of us with memories of dying as different people abord the harbinger two years before. and out exploits, ranging from the attack on the area where we had woken up, to our arrival on... "What is this ship, anyway?" I finished, unnable to name our current location.

"Hmm... Quite unfortunate indeed." The captain said thoughtfully as he turned his back to us. "This is the Harland, a Vector aircraft currently heading for Second Miltia. I suppose if you would work on board until then, you may travel with us."

I had walked over to the new 100-Series, and looked her over, just as she looked over me. "KARI." she said as she extended her hand, causing me to flinch.

"I... I'm TALI..." I replied. She obviously meant me no harm, why not give her a chance?

"Ha, it seems that 100-Series has already made friends with KARI!" The captain exclaimed.

"They share names and they're friends? heck, if that were true I'd actually have friends." I muttered incoherently. Obviously this guy wasn't that interested in a cyborg, so I could relax a bit for now. I was incredibly tense even so, as I didn't trust any of this, at all. I just didn't get good vibes from the guy.

The moment the captain introduced KARI, SORA clasped her hands together, grinning like mad. She loved making new friends, no matter whom or what they are. She spotted TALI, who had just awoken, making her way to KARI, and watched as both introduced themselves. SORA, too, made her way to the new 100-Series Realian. She observed that TALI wasn't frightened at KARI's actions, and sighed in relief. She had hoped that TALI would be more welcome to others, to know that not everyone would treat her as Margulis treated her.

I glanced over at the cyborg's words, but I didn't say anything. I looked back over at the captain, and said "All right, that's reasonable enough. I'll work, but I'd also like to get some answers, if I may." I said. There was still a lot that needed to be answered. Like just what had happened to us, since I was still a bit confused on that subject. How had who gotten whatever was left of us, and how had they put it into a Realian's body?

"KARI, take your new friends to your quarters, they can stay with you." The captain ordered as he pointed to SORA and I.

"Yes sir." KARI replies as she took my hand. "Come on!"
"Okay." I replied as I began to follow, now in a better mood.

"As for the rest of you, you may use the facilities freely until we have found suitable jobs for you. Anyone who has questions, follow me, and I'll try my best to answer." The captain stated.

"All right, I'll follow you." I said, looking over at the others nervously. Didn't they want to know about what had happened? And why didn't TALI? No matter, I guessed that I'd have to tell them after I found out myself. If I was alone, that is. There still seemed to be plenty of time for them to follow. If they wanted to...

"Oh yes, if you require technical services, there is a clinic downstairs, as well as a computer room where KARI had emerged earlier." The captain said before noticing something fall out of my pocket. He picked it up, and took it over to me. "I believe this is yours."

I backed away from him at first, until KARI took it from him, and placed it around my neck. It was a silver chain necklace, with a charm that resembled a cross hanging from it. "There!" she said, excited as she took my hand again, and looked at SORA. "Lets go!"

The captain turned to the others again. "I don't believe I've introduced myself. I'm Captain James Mahogany."

"Coming~!" SORA exclaimed cheerfully, rushing to KARI and TALI.

She glanced at the necklace around TALI's neck, examining it carefully. She flashed TALI a smile, telling her that her necklace looked pretty. Her eyes scanned around, checking for anything amiss, before facing the two 100-Series Realians again. She looked up at TALI and grabbed her other hand, beaming.

"Well, Captain..." I said in a respectful tone, despite what was going through my mind at the time. "I honestly mean no disrespect, but I'd like to know just what happened," I began, truthfully enough. "The last thing that I or TALI remember is dying aboard the harbinger two years ago, I kind of like to know how I'm here now." I explained, trying to keep from raising my voice.

"TALI? That 100-Series who seems to be afraid of anything that isn't a 100-Series?" James asked as he thought to himself. "Well, anyways, I've heard rumors about UTIC's return, as well as something about a machine that can somehow take the dead, and generate everything held in their brain, into the Realian.

He walked up to Robert, and bowed. "I'm sorry, I do not know any more. You'll have to find out the rest for yourself. As for that 100-Series, TALI, what exactly is wrong with her? She seems scared of everything."

"My rooms in here!" KARI exclaimed as she keyed a password into a door lock, the door opening. She guided us inside, and flicked on the light. The room was pink, basically. The only things that weren't were the walls!!! "Neat, isn't it?"

"Fine and dandy, but that doesn't explain me. You said realian. But I'm a cyborg, obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be having mental conflicts like this. So... explanation if you would be so kind." I waited impatiently, I was not major on waiting...

ooc: Ugh. RPers block

ic: I listened carefully to the captains explanation. As the others went off to find the rooms, I sat down at a console and slid my disk inside. I began working diligently at it, trying to crack the code the data was encrypted in. Hopefully this ship was safe. If my disk got ruined again, the crew would feel my wrath.

"I'm sorry, but I know little to none about cyborgs." James admitted as he opened a door. "I specialize in Realians, you see. Ah, this is where the girls will be staying." He then walked over to another door, and told the male he would be staying there.

When KARI had entered her password, opening the door, SORA scrutinized KARI's room. Her eyes twitched slightly at the sight of KARI's room.

?Pink~!

It wasn't that bad, but she couldn't really stand that much pinkness in one room. She forced an astonished grin on her face and hesitantly nodded. "Yeah, it's?neat." SORA stated, barely audible.
