You can get both legends in either game, so it doesn't really matter which one you prefer based on the legendaries.
But if you preferred Ariados over Ledian, then that's fair enough.

Wich is kinda stupid, i wish you could only get 1 of both. Exchanging to get the one you don't have would of been fun just like old times.

What do you mean by "just like old times"?

You could get both of them in Gold and Silver, too. Version exclusive legendaries didn't start until Ruby and Sapphire.

Although the remakes do have exclusives. HeartGold has Latias and Kyogre, while SoulSilver has Latios and Groudon.

pure and simple Ho-oh's scene flows better with the feudal theme of the game. Even though the scene fits for lugia, it doesnt flow well.
