    Plot:

    About 5 years ago, the downfall of Team Rocket brought people nationwide a sense of relief. Although defeated, the rockets left a deep scar of destruction behind. It took a long time for the people and pokemon of Kanto to recover, but a large amount of progress had been made. There weren't anymore daily news broadcasts of pokemon being stolen or large buildings being taken over, no more cities being overrun by merciless rocket grunts, and no more news reports of important pokemon icons being held hostage. Kanto was returning to the calm, peaceful region it once was. Little does everyone known, something big is happening..

    Now, years later, Giovanni's preparations have been coming together. For years, he has been planning his resurrection of Team Rocket. He has put together a much more powerful army of rockets, now with many new members apart from old ones. There are even secret rocket bases in Jhoto and Hoenn, which are key in the success of Giovanni's takeover plan. Performing all secret operations underground, they are now virtually undetected even though they are still active. Giovanni's plans are ready to be carried out, and the return of Team Rocket is close at hand..

    RP Rules:

    Character Roles:

    Regular Trainer-Normal pokemon trainers are like the protagonists and are against Team Rocket. If you choose to be a normal trainer, you will be able to do many different things. You can travel, battle, challenge gym leader, etc. *NOTE: regular trainers won't have too many major roles in the story
    Team Rocket Member-Team Rocket members are like antagonists and cause trouble. If you choose to be a member, you will act as a secret gang member. You can go on rocket missions, battle, steal, and lots of other things.

    Being a Rocket Member:

    There are three rank levels to being a rocket:

    Grunt/Adv. Grunt-The grunts of Team Rocket are the lowest class. Their job is to do whatever the rockets of higher class order them to and to assist them. Grunts go on basic missions, like guard duty, delivering messages, info gathering, etc. The grunts also go through tough training programs. They report to the admins.
    Admin/Adv. Admin-The admins of Team Rocket are mid class, and hold some degree of power. Their job is to lead the grunts on basic missions and more advanced missions, like kidnapping, spying, stealing, etc. The admins are like leaders to the grunts, and they report to the elites.
    Elite-The elites of Team Rocket are high class hold the most power next to Giovanni. Their job is to organize regular missions as well as to go on the most important and dangerous ones. They perform all tasks if needed, and mostly go on solo missions. Elites are the direct assistants to Giovanni, and receive the most important orders and plan information directly from him.

    Aside from levels of rank, certain members are assigned special jobs other from being just a normal rocket. Some of the most important jobs are:

    Scientist-The rocket scientists are in charge of carrying out and performing the team's pokemon experiments. Within bases, they perform the pokemon experiments in specialized labs. Sometimes, they work with the Techs. Only advanced admins and elites can be scientists.
    Tech-The rocket technology specialists, or techs, are in charge of electronical things and whatnot. They invent all the gadgets the rocket members use, as well as develop machines and gadgets for the rocket pokemon. They also build or repair transportation equipment for the other members. Only advanced admins or elites can be techs.
    Spy-The rocket spies are key in carrying out plans. They specialize in secrets and disguise, and are most often working underground. A good spy's job is to gather information while undetected, secretly invade enemy bases, and to keep watch over targets. Only advanced admins or elites can be spies.

    Appearance: Rayne stands at 5'7'' with spiky, jet black hair and steel blue colored eyes. He wears a somewhat "custom" Team Rocket uniform, but it really isnt the standard uniform at all. He simply wears the same colors as the other rockets do, choosing to wear a black and white t-shirt with black pants and shoes. He does wear one sort of representation of team rocket though: a white wristband on his left forearm, which has the red team rocket "R" on it. He also chooses to keep his pokeballs on a silver chain he wears around his neck instead of a belt on his waist.

    Personality: Not being the typical loud and noisy rocket member, Rayne is more of the calm and laid back type. He speaks in a nonchalant way, which would normally make someone think he is a careless person. He is also easily irritated and annoyed. Although he is more calm than loud, Rayne can be very harsh and rude at times. He doesn't like to show his emotions other than his natural calmness and his harsh attitude. He is also a bit of a rebel, and likes to do things his way sometimes.

    Background: Rayne grew up being raised by older brother, Hugo. His parents sadly passed away from illness when he was just 7 years old. At first, Rayne was a happy and carefree child, but his mother's death along from being raised without any real parents hardened his personality. Since their parents deaths, Rayne and Hugo were forced to live a street rat type of life. Hugo always did try his best to look after his little brother, and was hard on him sometimes to toughen him up. When Rayne was 10 years old, Hugo, being 13, joined Team Rocket. Since his brother joined, Rayne himself was surrounded by the rockets and became accustomed to their lifestyle and their ways. He joined Team Rocket at 13, and is now an admin. His brother Hugo is still a part of Team Rocket as well, now being an elite member.

    Personality: Howler is very loyal, but very aggressive at times.
    Obtained: Rayne first found Howler at night while on his way home. It was all alone, and was a very young puppy. He decided to keep it as his first pokemon, and the two have a strong bond.

    Name: Haunter*
    Nickname: Nightmare
    Gender: Male
    Personality: Nightmare is a naughty pokemon and likes playing pranks.
    Obtained: Rayne encountered Nightmare in an eerie dark forest. He decided to take the longer way home for some reason. As he was walking through the forest, a shiny Haunter appeared and startled him. He used Howler to battle the Haunter, and caught it.

    Name: Golbat
    Nickname: Fang
    Gender: Male
    Personality: Fang is very energetic, and likes to battle.
    Obtained: Rayne encountered Fang while in a cave. While he was looking around, a group of wild Zubat suddenly flew at him from out of nowhere and attacked him. Rayne fought them off, and caught one of the Zubat. It later evolved into Golbat.

    Name: Heather (Goes by Blayze though.)

    Job: Regular Member

    Appearance:
    Blayze has bright emerald green eyes, and long (to half-way down her back) red hair. She always wears her hair in a tight ponytail.
    She wears a her verson of a standard issue black Team Rocket uniform. The one different thing about it is: she wears pants instead of the skirt that most female members wear. She believes the pants to be more practical.

    Personality:
    Blayze tends to to have a short fuse for people and things that she deems insignificant or a waste of time. She tends to deal with such things with biting sarcasm. Though she can be gruff and almost rude at times, Blayze is a great friend once you get to know her. She also cares very much for her Pokemon. Although she is an Elite, Blayze often goes on missions with the Grunts and Admins. (Much to the Admins' displeasure.) She finds it boring at times to stay at the HQ all the time.

    Background:
    At age 7 Heather (As she was still known) witnessed Team Rocket invading a Pokemon contest. Unlike everyone else, who ran or glared at Team Rocket with hatered, Blayze watched them with admiration. At age 12 she joined Team Rocket, and has been a loyal member ever since.

    Pyre is very loyal and protective of Blayze, and eager to please her. Just like his trainer, he has a short fuse for things that he deems a waste of time.
    Obtained By:
    Pyre was Blayze's first Pokemon. When she was 7 her father gave her the feisty Charmander. The two bonded instantly, they have been inseparable ever since.

    Crunchy is very friendly. He often tugs on Blayze's pant leg for attention. He also likes to nudge up against her and purr. (Yes, a purring Trapinch. :) )

    Pidgeot is very vain and takes great pride in her appearance. She strives to keep her feathers clean and shiny. Pidgeot has taken it upon herself to protect Crunchy, since he is the smallest on the team.

    History: Mario is from the other dimision of infanite cheese. He Visits every now and then at home. He acidentely came here when his father a profeser made a intersteller warper.He has made many friends among each dimension but nobody knows these people. who raised him are they?.

    Mario actually got used to traveling back and forth.But he still needs to settle a few problems in both diminsions. He has never shown anybody else how to dimision warp. Yet everybody knows he can do it ,but he dosn' do it around strangers.

    um DSQ, your character doesnt have anthing at all to do with pokemon or team rocket..he has more to do with cheese. you added sign-up information that wasnt needed (nickname, natural weapon, fave pkmn, other) and your appearrance/personality/history were WAY too short. i dont want to immediately reject your sign up, but if you honestly wanna be in this RP you have to make some MAJOR changes to it. look at mine if you need an example. you are pending.

    Hometown/Region: Pallet Town, Kanto region

    Appearance: Has longish blond hair, blue-green eyes, skin varies depending on the time of year. Wears a jacket similar to Volkner's, though green instead of blue, over a tan sweater and khaki jeans during the colder half of the year, while wearing a green polo shirt with khaki shorts during the warmer half. He wears hiking boots year-round. He keeps a good supply of items, including food, water, medicines, and Ultra Balls with him in his backpack when he travels.

    Personality: Somewhat of a loner. Wesley has been accompanied by friends occasionally, but most often travels with only his Pokemon for company. Ultimately, he makes decisions on his own, and dislikes working in a group. He challenges just about every trainer he meets to a battle, and really does not like to lose, a trait that has had both positive and negative effects, as he tends to get really frustrated when defeated and often cannot be reasoned with until he manages to defeat that person in a rematch.

    Background: Wesley left Pallet Town around the same time Ash did. He started his journey with a Charmander at the same time Gary started with his Squirtle (Bulbasaur had already been taken when Wesley arrived, so he didn't get to see who Bulbasaur's trainer was). Wesley has fought several gym battles, and chellenged the Indigo League once, though he didn't win. He is currently involved in fighting Johto gym leaders in an attempt to challenge that regions League.

    Pokemon:

    Charizard (male)
    Charizard has been with Wesley since he started training, having evolved from the Charmander he was given. The two of them have developed a mutual respect for each other during that time, and Charizard shares Wesley's intense dislike of losing and determination to win whatever the cost.

    Jolteon (female)
    Wesley evolved Eevee into Jolteon primarily to give Charizard some defense against Water-types. Jolteon is probably the smartest Pokemon on Wesley's team, and frequently uses moves like Thunder Wave and Attract to keep the opponent from attacking in battle.

    Lapras (female)
    Lapras was one of the more recent additions to Wesley's team, and is not primarily a battler. She is very gentle, but will defend her trainer when needed, and has fought in the past when called upon to do so.

    Note: While writing this, I found that someone else here already had a Charizard. Is that a problem? They're not unique or anything, and a Charizard vs. Charizard battle would be interesting to see later on, so I wouldn't think so.

    Ray Was raised by a friend of giovani's and he did not know his family exept his sister Mimi who did not want anything to do with him.Then at the age of thirteen he went to a shop where a dazed Rocket grunt gave him a card.

    When he showed the clerk this ,and she told him to go downstairs.He Did This,When He got there Rocket members were everywhere an elite came and offered Ray a job and he quickly accepted.

    Then he told Ray that he had been Watched for many years by Fuki the person who raised him and that his sister denied a job. Ray then trained very hard and quickly finished training and became a admin.

    okay DSQ, i dont really think you know how to make an acceptable sign-up quite yet. as i said before, your appearance and personality are way too short and not detailed, and you didnt need to add more categories to the sign-up (other, fave pkmn). you should read the basic RP rules and sharpen your RP skills more. im sorry, but you are declined.

    Appearance: A rather average looking man, standing at about 5' 9" and unremarkable brown hair people's eyes tend to glaze over him. His lab coat is white and immaculately pressed. His Pokeballs are kept up his sleeve in a special holster. He wears a traditional black team Rocket outfit under his lab coat.

    Personality: Draco lurks in the shadows, unnoticed by the majority of the world. He prefers to keep everybody in the dark. He is very ambitious and has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He has an ego, but he is always very cautious and prefers to plan to the nth degree before acting.

    Background: Draco was a child prodigy,by the time he was 16 he worked for Silph and had coded the Dubious disc to upgrade Porygon. Unfortunately some of his collegues were disturbed by some of his research and he was ordered to stop it. His resentment festered until Team Rocket invaded
    Silph he saw his chance and took it. Reporting directly to Giovanni, Draco has done lots of genetic work with Pokemon hatching terrifying monstrosities, his ultimate goal to recreate Mewtwo. His three Pokemon are genetically enhanced so that even though they are young , they are powerful.

    Pokemon:

    Porygon-Z
    Draco's PorygonZ is ruthless and powerful. With advanced algorithms it adapts quickly in battle. It has expanded metal capacity and is an exemplary strategist.

    Sableye
    Draco's Sableye was the epitome of his experiments on it's species. With an increased intellect it often follow Draco around and aids him with his experiments and research.

    Pikachu
    After hearing hundreds of reports of powerful Pikachus Draco decided to look at the untapped genetic potential. He was shocked to discover that the common electric type had potential rivaling some of the legendary Pokemon. His Pikachu was genetically programmed to be fiercely loyal.
     
    (simple question: Could my character be an assistant scientist? Kinda like an intern working under another scientist.. of course this depends if someone else signs up as scientist. =p I'll put my application as advanced admin/scientist for now, but if it's possible I'll change it to grunt/assistant scientist. :3)

    Appearance: Mik has black hair that reaches below her shoulders that's constantly in two braids and light brown skin, and it's obvious that she comes from a warmer climate. She wears thick clothing most of the year, typically a dark blue sweater with a longer, white shirt underneath and nondescript blue jeans. While at work, she wears a standard-issue lab coat with her pokeballs, a ballpoint pen barely held together with tape and a clipboard shoved into the pockets. Mik is tall, 6'4", and healthy weight.

    Personality: Very fun-loving, Mik is always the first to party whenever she can. In the past, she was an alcoholic, but after joining Team Rocket she decided to get her life together. She still drinks a little more than is healthy, and hangs around bars on her nights off. Mik is very easy to get along with, but doesn't commit easily to friendships or romantic relationships. She is known for doing stupid, reckless things, and will sometimes come to work after a weekend with her hair dyed some crazy colour and no memory of how it happened.

    Background: Mik grew up in Saffron city, and went to university in Vermilion city to study medical sciences. During the two years she stayed there, she drank to excess and was finally kicked out. For another year, she lived on the streets until finally deciding to do something with her life. She tried pokemon training and failed miserably, trying a few other professions before finding herself standing before Giovanni, begging for a job. She's been with Team Rocket for about a year.

    Pokemon:
    Mightyena(female): Kanna
    Kanna found Mik on the streets, and they've supported each other ever since. She's fiercely loyal and will throw herself recklessly into battle even without much chance to win. Commonly seen outside her pokeball, she is easily Mik's favorite pokemon.

    Flygon(male): Saurus
    Saurus is quiet, shy and hates fighting. He shies away from people he doesn't know, and prefers to spend his time flying from place to place. Because of this, Mik often uses him to deliver messages or packages to faraway people.

    Ampharos(female): Lyina
    Lyina's presence is soothing, and she often helps Mik through tough decisions or periods when she seems close to slipping into alcoholism again. Lyina also hates to battle, and is the reason that Mik decided against being a serious pokemon trainer.

    Name: Erhon

    Age: 19

    Appearance: Erhon has more than one Appearance.

    Appearance One- He uses this appearance while being above ground, and for spying. It consists of a black cloak. All that shows when he is wearing this, is his mouth, and by chance the small, mechanical glasses he wears for the purpose of spying and communication. His underclothing consists entirely of black. A black shirt with the Rocket Symbol in the torso area, and black gloves, with black rings around his wrists. His pants tuck into his boots, which are a sort of lighter color, almost being gray. When he takes his hood off from his cloak off, his deep black hair is visible. His eye color is a light brown, almost sand colored eyes, with a black pupil. Infront of his eyes are his Orange colored Mechanical glasses. This is his regularly used appearance during Team Rocket Meetings.

    Appearance Two- This could be considered his leisure outfit. Back when he was a normal trainer (This will be explained later in History), this was the outfit he used. His hat was black, atop his deep black, spiky hair, and sand colored eyes with a black pupil. On his hat, symbolized the Top Half of a Pokeball in a greenish color. His skin is Caucasian. His shirt was a short sleeved shirt, a black shirt, with no symbolizations on it. On his hands, were black gloves. He wore a belt that would sit slanted around his waist, each side holding three Pokeballs. The upper diagnol half of the belt was cut off by his black shirt being over the area slightly. His pants were sky blue, and shoes with a black base, and red sides. Now a days, if he wears this outfit, the only difference is the black shirt symbolzing Team Rocket.

    Personality: Though he may be a low rank in an evil team, Erhon is a nice person. However, he still has his own dark intentions, being of Team Rocket. When losing a match, even barely, he lashes out, never telling his Pokemon to give up- A Past pretense from Trainer Days. However, since he is a spy, he has to be extremely sneaky. Even when it comes to battle plans, or even boss Giovanni, he has to be secretive about it. Though sometimes, through all of his attitude, he has a slight goody side. On break, he jokes around with his fellow Rocket grunts, for a good laugh. Making a good amount of jokes during break, his goofy attitude can make a friend out of him. Though, while joy, he never discusses his Rocket Spy life.

    Background: When Erhon turned 10, he was able to begin his Pokemon Journey, like most other trainers. His home region was Kanto, and even at that time it was still under threat of Team Rocket. His starter Pokemon was Squirtle, and he has had the time of his life since he had it. From gaining Gym Badges and Experience, gaining friends in other trainers and enemies in Team Rocket, whom he battled a lot on his journey. He has always had a knack for Pokemon Training, Battles, and Maneuvers. Even from that time he was a perfect candidate to join Team Rocket. Though, he did not join the team till later. He competed in the Pokemon League Indigo Pleatau, and came in second place in the final rounds- Making him a very powerful trainer. Soon after that, he went to Johto. He conquered the region, coming in First Place in this league, but still, having to deal with Team Rocket. After that, he decided to settle down for awhile and take time to enjoy life. One day however, while enjoying Goldenrod Outfield life with his Pokemon, he was confronted by Giovanni- Leader of Team Rocket. The Leader played mind games with the young trainer, knowing his talents with Pokemon, he had to recruit him. Erhon gave in. By that time, he was Fourteen, though soon after being recruited, Team Rocket was terminated. Erhon knew Giovanni was not going to give up. He stayed by the Leaders Side, training everyday, until today.. Soon Team Rocket will come back, it is known by all recruited and old members.

    Pokemon: Blastoise, Ditto, Muk.

    Blastoise
    Nickname- Ocean
    Gender- Male
    Personality- Defensive, and Stubborn. Never disobeys orders. Quite Friendly, yet powerful.
    Obtained- Starter Pokemon.

    Ditto
    Nickname- Dot
    Gender- None
    Personality- Dot has a blank attitude. Rather one that goes with the flow.
    Obtained- While Erhon was a younger trainer, he caught Ditto in the grasslands outside of Fuischa City. Ditto is very useful to the trainer, for spying missions and what not, to transform his face.

    Muk
    Nickname- M
    Gender- Male
    Personality- Aggressive. Doesn't back down, even to bigger foes. Energetic, never getting tired of battle.
    Obtained- When Erhon was recruited, this Pokemon was given to him by boss Giovanni as a Grimer. It evolved soon after while training.

    OOC;- I hope this sign up sheet isn't too late. As you can see from the long paragraphs, I had some time on my hands xD

    IC:

    Rayne was in the Team Rocket Gym, running on a treadmill. Little beads of perspiration were appearing on his forehead as he steadily panted in short breaths. "Hmph..only five more minutes to go," thought Rayne as he glanced down at the automated timer on the electronic treadmill. He took a sip of water from his water bottle and continued running. A few minutes later, he finished running and sat down on the bench, drinking some water and wiping his face with a towel. He gathered his breath for a moment, as his heart was beating rather fast from the adrenaline that was pumping through his body. Suddenly, Giovanni's voice boomed over the intercom.

    "Will all Team Rocket members gather in the meeting room immediately for mission assignments," said the deep, intense voice.

    "Hm..we're getting new missions today? Finally," said Rayne. He drunk the last of his water and carelessly threw the towel aside. He changed out of his sweaty clothes, quickly showered, and grabbed his pokemon. After the announcement, other rockets began to move out, heading toward the meeting room. Rayne lagged behind for a moment, and then followed suit.
     
    Mik grinned as the announcement boomed through the secret base. She stretched, shoving her clipboard into the extensive pockets of her labcoat and turned off the computer she had been working at. There hadn't been much to do over the past few weeks as Team Rocket was still lying low, and Mik had been mostly typing up routine lab reports and researching.

    Kanna wagged her tail energetically as Mik stood, and the two trotted down the hallway towards the meeting room. They joined the large number of admins, elites and grunts streaming towards easily the largest room in the base. Outside the room, Mik knelt in front of Kanna.

    "You can stay out if you want... but be on your best behavior, okay?" She bit her lip, hoping that nobody would take offense to her keeping her pokemon out, and walked into the meeting room.
     
    In the Rocket Gym, there are few people in there. Working out, getting a drink, or just having a small good break for a few laughs. This is what three grunts were doing; Two in average Gym clothes, and one in seemingly trainer clothes, though one could still tell he is a rocket member, due to the symbol on his chest. The three are having a good laugh, enjoying the leisure. Though their laughing may be sort of a disturbance, they didn't really notice, focusing on the jokes.

    "Alright, alright. You know you live in 2007 when-"

    This trainer who was speaking out, was the one in trainer clothes. His name, was Erhon. Soon, before he could even tell other parts of his joke, a loud, commanding, and stern voice came through the intercom; Giovanni, telling all those lower position to come to the main Rocket building for a meeting. After the announcement from Giovanni was finished, Erhon got out of joy mode and into serious mode. He ran to the locker rooms, past another Rocket Trainer who was running in the gym. Once he was inside, he ran to his locket, and began quickly taking off his leisure clothes, and into his rocket appearance.

    This consisted of a black cloak, with seemingly nothing but black clothes underneath. He picked up his Pokeballs from his belt, and leaving the hood to his cloak off of his head, revealing his sand colored eyes with a dark pupil, and deep black hair. Finally, he grabbed a small mechanical device, which folded out into a pair of glasses; Spy Glasses, seeing as Erhon is a Spy Grunt. The glass is an orange color. He rushed out to where the other grunts are walking to; The meeting area of the Team Rocket Headquarters.
