We can't reccomend you teams off Pokemon alone. You need to give us an idea of what type of moveset they will have. If you want to use Salamence, use BulkyRoost Mence. It's very effective (PM Dark_Azelf for the BulkyRoostMence set) If you want Specsmence, then you should use it as a lead. Smogon.com is a great information source:

    https://www.smogon.com/

If you are interested in Tyranitar, you could use what I use:

    Tyranitar @ Choice Band
    60 HP, 252 HP, 168 Spe
    Adamant
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Crunch
    Pursuit

Perhaps the most scary physical attack in the game. With an instant 50% Special Defense boost (brings it up to 150 base, which is scary D:) His durability is absolutely crazy. It laughs at Gyarados leads and OHKO's them with Stone Edge even after an intimidate. Even if it misses, it can usually take a second Waterfall/EQ from Gyarados' base 125 Attack.

    Lucario needs SD.

    Lucario @ Life Orb
    252 Att, 252 Spe, 6 HP
    Adamant
    Swords Dance
    Extremespeed/Bullet Punch
    Crunch
    Close Combat

After a Swords Dance, Luke can OHKO Skarmory (most likely 2HKO) Bullet Punch can be used (even though it is half of ES's base damage. It can hit faster threats like Mismagius and Gengar. It can OHKO them and guarantees a OHKO against Aerodactyl.

Really, I'm just giving you sets straight from my team, which works wonders. I practically never get 4-0'd, and if I am, the enemy team is either status'd or low in HP.

If you want more sets for your favorite Poke's, use Smogon and post the sets. I'll be here to help you :)

    Try this

    Gengar -
    Special Sweeper -
    Spoiler:

    Blissey -
    Special Wall -
    Spoiler:

    Gyarados -
    Physical Sweeper -
    Spoiler:

Then you can probably add a Electivire for Motor Drive when they try to kill your Gyarados. And Maybe a Azelf for another Special Sweeper but you would be weak against Dark and Ghost attack on your special sweeping side.
Then a good wall physical would be Forretress or Bronzong

Check Smogon.com for movesets and building a team
Check Serebii.net or Legendarypokemon.net for Weaknesses

Well, my team lineup is the following:

    Tyranitar/Gliscor/Lucario/Blissey/Vaporeon/Metagross

Seems like a Sandstorm team right? Well, it sort of is, but Vaporeon and Blissey offer great walling support. Vaporeon completely laughs at Mixape, Grass Knot does next to nothing to it. Blissey can Toxic Electivire's thinking they can switch in.

Voltorb...? Electrode is much more superior.

    @windy

    Download it

    @awesome

Grass types are awesome, they usually have high walling capabilities (Vileplume, Meganium, Tangrowth, Celebi) and some sweepers like Sceptile.

Electrode is fail. Base 140 speed is nice and all, but Jolteon outclasses is entirely minus the speed (it's only got 10 less base speed) It is an overall better Pokemon.
