Hmm, I just decided that I liked pixel art this morning lol. So I've been messing around with recoloring(my avatar and the sprite in my signature.) I'm going to try to make sprites from scratch tomorrow though, I hope they come out decent.

This is my first sprite , it's called Salamarsh:

It's made with:

• Hippopottas' body (got rid of eyes)
• Treecko's colour pallette
• Teddiursa's ears
• Charmander's Eye colours

the sprite itself is pretty good and i don't know if it is considered an amalgamation or a splice. The head has a lack of shading and the outline is mostly black there, so work on that

I would edit the pattern on the back of the sprite so it doesn't look so much like hippopotas's pattern. Maybe make it like slakoth's (simple stripes). On top of that, Slak and Sala look kind of alike as they both appear lazy.

I've made some Pokemon Splices recently, and here's a few of them:

Octillery and Exeggutor

Wigglytuff, Golem, Gloom, and Dusknoir

Wobbuffet, Hypno, Seal, and Ludicolo

Lotad, Cacnea, Krabby, and Loudred

Tyranitar, Caterpie, Jumpluff, and Salamence (this was a joke, so it doesn't look as good as the others)

Macargo, Lickitung, and Rapidash

These are very good, the only criticism I have is some of the colours are either very dark or very bright (e.g. the Garchomp thingy, and the Angel Darkrai thingy), which takes away from their obvious good quality.
