A pretty bad fakemon I made. He's called Snegvann. Sneg coming from the Norwegian word for Snail and Vann coming from water.

I will add more as I make them :)
 
If your thread includes only splices, you have to put it in the sprite fusions and recolors thread, not here, sorry. (JUST WARNING YOU IN ADVANCED!!!)
 
Yep. Gol is right; just be sure to add a few other things in here so you'll be clear. We have way too many splices and recolors.

Anyways, the splices... Blastoise + Ludicolo is the best. The ones in your bottom, original post are also better; the top just includes too many splices of dissimilar Pokemon. The only exception to that is Magnemite and Marowak; that splice actually looks pretty good.

All things considered, here's a condensed list:

The Good:

Bottom group is good, you used Pokemon with similar posing
Some are unique and good-looking
Unexpected splices

The Not-So-Good

Top group looks unprofessional; posing is too different for a successful splice (I mean, Noctowl and Raikou!?)
Uses too many dissimilar Pokemon

It's all fixable. Just try to use more Pokemon that look alike; it'll make your splices look better.

I'm new to spriting and figured I would post mine to get some critique :3
When combining two Pokemon, I thought of multiple ways I could mix them so that's why there's more than one fusion for each combo of Pokemon I used.

Row 1: Manaphy/Bonsly
Row 2: Pikachu/Charmander
Row 3: Kirlia/Bellossom
Row 4: Golduck/Scyther
Row 5: Dragonair/Sunflora

(The first green golduck was my original, but I thought the arms looked weird so I redid it, the fixed version is on the far right.)

*Hopefully I did the image right. I was going to put it in spoiler tags but couldn't figure out how lol Anyway, please let me know what you think of my sprites. :)

"Many of the sprites have missing outlines. That makes them look jagged. The best way to colour them is with the eraser trick :x "

Who are you responding to? There's been a lot of sprites posted in the last day lol I hope you're not referring to me though because I do use the eraser trick -_-

I think it was a response in a thread, since it seems that they are merging those threads with this rather than just telling them to post it here. So that was just part of a thread merged with this.
 
oo okay thanks guys! I was so confused lol

Anyway to get back on topic, I like your sprites Blue Scizor :) The Snorlax/Marshtomp made me lol xD The Gyarados/Beedrill one is fierce :3 Dratini/Ekans - they're so similar idk how I never thought of it lol The only one that looks kind of off is Hippopotas/Empoleon.. I think it's the dark blue between the spots and the feet.

I just started spriting myself so I can't give really great advice but overall I thought they looked decent :) Anyone want to comment on mine? :3

Some of the splices work; some don't. I like the Suicune/Articuno one and the Regi one the best.
