4th Gen Recromended Pokemon

Do you have a pokemon you want to recromend to another players team here you can talk about this type of thing.

I recommend cyndaquil as starter.

I recommend you get the Draini from the Game Corner/Dragon's Den. :)
Also, I recommend you use the Togepi. I did, and it's been amazing. :)

Mareep to eventually evolve into Ampharos is a good beginner electric pokemon (although I don't think there are many other options early in the game).

Too bad you can't get a Mudkip until after you've essentially beaten the game. D:

I'd actually recommend investing a little bit into a female Geodude at the beginning of the game...they make Whitney a lot easier...

Trade Drowzee (preferably a female one) to the guy in Goldenrod's Dept. Store for a female Machop. Machamp rocks. It comes in handy against Whitney, Jasmine, Pryce, Clair, E4, Surge, RED, etc. Have it know Earthquake as well as Ice Punch and one or two fighting moves. If it's female, it will be immune to Whitney's attract.

Use Eevee as well. Either as Espeon, Umbreon, Flareon, Vaporeon or Jolteon. I evolved it into Espeon.

You can use Gengar on your team. It can learn Mean Look which will come in handy when trying to track down Entei and Raikou. You can get a Gastly really early on in Sprout Tower.
