BACKGROUND STORY
This game will be (if it gets done) my first ever rom hack, but completed so that I know for a fact I can actually get it done. The original hack I wanted to make I do not believe I am "hacking-talented" enough to complete at this point especially without a team, so if this makes sense to you, this hack is basically a "sequel" to what will hopefully be my second rom hack in the future. Or the other way around, my second rom hack would be the prequel to this, and this hack takes place after the events of (once again) what will eventually hopefully be my second rom hack. Also because I have a feeling someone will think I am ripping off snakewood version, I promise I am not. This game was inspired by call of duty zombies as well as real life events and wanting to have a game where things in the prequel are not revealed, and for practice of course, to make that prequel.
THE STORY
You are a kid from the region of Aerion, although waking up in an abandoned facility with problems remembering everything does not help you think that. You are locked in a cell and the room is dark. You can hear moaning coming from the outside. But that is not all you hear. You hear somebody in a cell next to you asking for help escaping! After freeing this man who appears to be at least 10 years older than you. He goes by the name of John. John seems to have more knowledge of this facility than you do, and he presents you with three pokemon letting you know that you will need one to fight the undead that lurk this abandoned place. After choosing one of them, you and John fight your way out of the abandoned facility and try to figure out where you both are. You will meet many old versions of the people that would appear in this game's prequel if it is ever made. These people are holders of angel gems and shadow gems. There are four angel gems and four shadow gems. About half way through the game you will reach a very large mountain, separating the Aerion region in half. After crossing it you will find out that the other half of the region hasn't been plagued with undead yet (keep in mind the undead are people not pokemon and all 386 pokemon will be obtainable somehow still). In this mountain there is a giant rift known as the Abyss of Pain (SPOILER ALERT: PREQUEL GAME TITLE) And there are two sides of this rift. The angel side and the shadow side. You need four angel gems to get into the angel side, and four shadow gems to get into the shadow side. Both sides had a legendary pokemon excusive to this region as well as a fatal undead plague to go along with them. In order to seal the plague away you must unlock both sides and capture/defeat a 3rd, more powerful legendary pokemon that can stop it. Acquiring the 8 gems will not be easy, though. Each gem holder has a task for you to complete as well as a Pokemon battle (gym leader replacements) before they will let you have their gem, and they are too old to stop the plague themselves so they need someone trustworthy and powerful enough to do it. Once you seal away the plague again, the first half of the region will be restored and no longer hell-infested, with new things for you to do, as well as the possibility to challenge the Aerion League, where the Elite 4 and the Champion rest. After beating the champion, you still have much more to do... The first one of those things is your old accomplice you met at the facility, John, will give you a key item, "John's Diary". Upon use you will receive a message saying: "The Diary of John 'Red' Stocke. You would read more into the diary, but all the pages seem to be scuffed."...
FEATURES IN THE GAME I WANT TO ADD/HAVE
- Custom tiles, as well as have them change in the first region after the zombie plague is removed (i think there is a script that can do that)
- Many post game events, like the ones in fire red / leaf green (and we can have multiple world maps for a possible second region/islands like fire red / leaf green did!
- Many easter eggs regarding and not regarding the story of the game and the prequel's story (which will only be revealed to the team)
- Still have Secret Bases working (Because I loved secret bases on this game, and I want it to work for you flash cart users (like myself) if two people happen to have the game on one and a link cable. If not I still love secret bases and want to keep them in the game!
- Custom starters with their evolutions (Which I almost have done actually, and these will be the only custom pokemon in the game besides a few new legendaries)
- More to come!
Well that concludes the concept of Pokemon: Aerion Blood version. Clearly there are no screenshots yet because official work on the game will not commence until custom tiles are in place, which I am unable to do. I hope this long post has convinced you or inspired you to come help with this game. Thanks again!

THIS IS GOING TO BE A RUBY HACK
Introduction
Spoiler:
After months of trying to master my rom hacking skills and of trying to teach my friends how to hack as well so they can help me make the game I invisioned, I only came out succeeding in one of those two things: Mastering the skill of rom-hacking. Although completing a game completely by myself is too time-consuming. As a plea for help, Jcool is emerging from the depths of reading tutorials on the Pokecommunity forums for at least 2 years and requesting help from the rest of the community.
What I most need help with
Spoiler:
The thing I can see needing most help with in making this rom hack is inserting new tiles, and the title screen & the credits. I basically have scripting, mapping, overworld editing, and inserting pokemon sprites down completely. It's just the tiles that are getting me. I can make a title screen, but it would not have any background or color change, just the version title and the groudon sprite is what I can edit. So I'm going to need help with the title screen probably
What I expect of you
Spoiler:
I have been waiting too long to tolerate any "bs" that anyone has to offer. I want the making of this rom hack to be completely friendly and no immature/mean stuff going on at all.
The joy of Skype
Spoiler:
Let's face it. IM'ing all of the team members at once is the best way to communicate when making the game. Through skype you can also send files, and I've used skype for a long time. I can't force you to get skype if you want to join, but it would be an easier way of getting a spot as a team member and it would make progression of the game go much faster.
Application Form
Spoiler:
Here's what you need to fill out in order to get a spot on the team. If you'd like to know more about what I want this hack rom turning out as, scroll down and read the story so you can figure out if you'd really like to be apart of this team. Without further ado, the form (please copy/paste the questions with your answers in the reply):
1. What do you know how to do in terms of pokemon rom hacking?
2. What are you best at when it comes to pokemon rom hacking?
3. Can you insert tiles? (Because I 100% need someone to do that)
4. How about making the title screen? (Same as above)
5. Can you get along well with others?
6. Are you willing to come to agreements even if it's not what you wanted if it's for the best of the team and the game?
7. Do you have skype?
8. What has most inspired you to want to join this team?
9. Please provide some "proof" that you can do what you say you are able to from questions 1-4.
10. Are you good at coming up with ideas? (I plan to add many "easter eggs" to this game!)
11. What job(s) would you actually like to have/are applying for?
