RECRUITMENT TROUBLE IN MYSTERY DUNEGON 1!

    Okay, I have a problem in Mystery Dungeon Blue for DS.
    I can't recruit Groundon, Sucuine, and Raquaza! And I know I'm doing the right steps! When I go up to them, it's just the leader and no one else, and the leader is always Blastiose, so I have a one star group. And my Blastiose is holding on to a Friend Bow. And I always throw their favorite gummis at them. But when I defeat them, they don't ask to join the team! And I recruited Kyogore, Enti, Reiku, and Ho-oh easily! (Please excuse my horrible spelling, these darn Japanese names xD) PLEASE HELP AND TELL MY WHAT I'M DOING WRONG!!!!
     
    I think you should keep trying. In that game, it took me a long time to recruit those Pokemon, and I could only do it after I had COMPLETELY beaten the game and was at level 100.
     
    Yeah, throwing gummies is a waste. However, the higher the level, the better chance of recruting. Make sure that they are directly infront too.
     
    My Blastoise is level 68.

    On the other hand is it hard to recruit Lugia for you? I havn't tried the Silver Trench yet, I still need to train for it before I get pwned.

    A friend bow does help o_O The gummies don't, but the friend bow does. That's what it's for.

    Just keep trying, you're doing it right. They're not legendary for nothin' :3
     
    Groudon, Suicune, and Rayquaza are all very stubborn. You might need to have your leader hold the Friend Bow (I think that's what it's called), but I'm not sure where to get one... Other than that, it's pretty much all luck. Keep trying!

    And Emperor_Darius, Darkrai's recruitment status is 'very hard', so that's probably why you're having trouble.

    you just need to get there friend area and then you will have good chance to get them okay i couldn't get a seel partner but when i got the friend area i got to get one okay ( but my game is stuck in my car) good luck spokemon
     
    do what i do go for one and just keep beating that one pokemon and dont get all excited to get them just act like its not going to happen b/c 80% of the time that happens to me. and use a pokemon that u use alot. hope it helps
     
    Well. Hmmm. Those 3 pokemon are incredibly frustrating for me when i was trying to recruit them. Make sure you are directly infront of them and not far away. The friend bow only adds a 10% recruitment chance so dont rely on that all the time. The reason you got Ho-ho so easy is because it has a 99.99% recruitment chance. I would recommend leveling up to about lvl 70 - 90 so you get a better recruitment chance. I have also heard that your rank of the team can also add a little percentage. Rayquaza is one of the hardest pokemon to get so just keep trying.

    Anytime....Also be wary that YOU get the last attack and not your partner/partners...and make sure it is an attack not an item being thrown. And remember need help just ask :D
