FIRE

Game - Pokemon Blue
I see no ones completed the fire challenge so i'll take that one.
I just started a new game, trainer name is James, rival name is Garrett. I chose Charmander which I named Flame On and I'm setting out! I'll make sure to keep you updated! :D

UPDATE 1
Beat the rival
Got the pokedex
caught - Pidgey, ratata, caterpie, metapod, and pikachu for the pokedex
grinded Flame On through the forest to pewter city where I beat brock on my second try, and I levelled up to level 16 after killing his onyx and evolved into charmeleon :D
Making my way toward mount moon
Team - Flame On Lvl 16 Scratch, Growl, Ember, Leer (Charmeleon)

UPDATE 2
Went through Mount Moon and beat every trainer and got every item.
Used the HP UP and Rare Candy on my Charmeleon.
Caught - Geodude, Zubate, Paras, Sandshrew, and Spearow for pokedex
Trained a little bit before going into Cerulean. Got Charmeleon to 25 and am going to attempt to fight Misty.
Leveled to 26 fighting the gym trainers and killed staryu and took out 75% of the starmie and died because of a crit hit.
Getting ready to train my way through nuggest bridge to Bills house then take on the gym again
Team - Flame On Lvl 26 Scratch, Mega Punch, Ember, Rage (Charmeleon)

UPDATE 3
Beat the rival easily, and beat every trainer on nugget bridge and before Bills house which levelled me to level 30
Caught - Bellsprout for pokedex
Took on Misty again, OHKO'ed staryu with megapunch and 2 hitted the Starmie with Mega Punch no problem!
Caught - Meowth for pokedex
Hopped on the SS Anne and beat every trainer and got every item and beat the rival and got cut.
Rival levelled me to 36 so now i have Charizard :D
Traded Spearow for Farfetch'd for pokedex
Charizard one hitted every single one of Surges pokemon. 3 Badges :]
Team - Flame On Lvl 38 Slash, Mega Punch, Ember, Rage (Charizard)

UPDATE 4
Caught - Diglett and Dugtrio for pokedex
Got Flash!
Hit Cerulean again to get bike and catch Abra for flash
Made it through rock tunnel to lavender to celadon beating every trainer along the way
Got evee and evolved it to Flareon
Caught Vulpix
Flareon took on Erika's whole gym with Body Slam :]
4 Badges :D
Made my way into the rocket base at game corner and saved Im done for now!
Team - Charizard lvl 42, Flareon lvl 34, Vulpix lvl 20

 

[PACIFIC]

This looks fun. I think I'll try this with POISON types. I'll have to use VBA cuz I lost my old Blue version.

UPDATE 1
-Started game with my character name as PACIFIC and rival as Gary (like most others)
-Picked Bulbasaur as starter.
-Easily pwned Gary's lvl 5 Charmander
-Got pokedex
-Caught Pidgey and Rattata for Pokedex
-Caught my 1st other Poison type, Weedle and evolved it into Kakuna.
-Easily beat Brock with Vine Whip.

UPDATE 2
-Finally evoled my Kakuna into Beedrill after 10 minutes!
-Caught Nidoran (female).
-Breezed through Mt Moon, getting the Helix Fossil
-Gary's Pidgeotto wiped out my poor Bulbasaur and Beedrill....and Nidoran...
-Evolved Bulbasaur into Ivysaur! Awsome.
-Beat Misty on my second try.

BlueDartX yes you can use pokemon as hm slaves but you can't train them or use them in battles unless there you chosen type for the challenge.
