Platinum hack: Refined Platinum Overhaul [COMPLETE]

Does... did this hack remove East Sea Gastrodon? I waited to route 213 to grab a Shellos because I like East Sea better... but it's just more West Sea Shellos. I am sad now :(

Hey, freshly beginning a first playthrough on RP and from what I've seen of it so far it's a really enjoyable patch. I do have a question tho: are TMs still single-use or are they reusable? If that's even a change one can make with current editing tools.

They are single use but there is infinite supply of them in the postgame. It's the best compromise to retain the resource management aspect without being a massive pain teambuilding long-term.

I can't seem to get it too work either haha
Hey there, I am not sure whether it worked or not
But I think it did.(since I will only know it worked untill I try to evolve a trade evo or something)

I searched xdelta patcher on google since the patch file is ending with delta so...
It says it worked,

edit: wait a minute Refined platinum said it must be version 1.1
and I could not find that version

Well if someone can help, please message me directly cause I would love to play this!

Been trying to get my hands on spiritomb, I got the odd keystone into hallowed tower but he won't appear. Does the underground player encounters requirement still apply in overhaul? Or am I missing something else? Documentation just says hallowed tower on route 209 pre-E4 which I'm all good on

There's a gym requirement, I think Wake? But the underground requirement will also work if you're playing with friends.

Hi, I would like to translate the rom that gets created after patching for myself to german. Do you, by any chance, have a list of textarchive numbers you have changed apart from 724-730 so I don't have to search through all 723 for any changes? BR

I'm afraid I don't, you can copy/paste them from DSPRE into a diff checker to compare them to vanilla but that's not a huge help.

Yo, finished the rom hack recently, really enhanced the Platinum experience, appreciate you putting all the hard work in it man.

Small question, are there any reliable spots for grinding trainers to farm XP? It feels like most of the post-E4 rematch trainers still only give like 1500-2300 XP per Pokemon, would it really be best just to do E4 runs with EXP share?

There's a ton of new content added that's perfect for this, have a look at the superbosses section. On one hand I recommend completing the superboss quest fully, on the other hand they're all repeatable and if you can do a given battle with 5 Pokemon then you can slap an Exp Share on an Anorith and do Oak's Aide or Barry or Cyrus or even the final superboss to grind exp, along with Battlegrounds or E4 runs or hell even Frontier Brain fights (you need the Silver Print to unlock those). It's not terribly interesting to take one battle and grind it into mush but a big perk of the way this hack is designed is that there are a bajillion options to grind for exp that are all reasonably efficient.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
