Is it really a smart thing for everyone to say "OH I'LL TRADE YOU MY LEGIT POKEMON FOR YOUR LEGIT POKEMON?"

See because Pokemon that aren't legit are to my understanding, not allowed.

Because of that every Pokemon is assumed to be legit, and stating that yours is legit kind of raises some suspicion.

Now if you want to tell us that it isn't legit, that'd be fine and dandy.

(This is a suggestion or something, only I can't phrase it :P )

From the Wireless Trade Corner rules:
    No hacked Pokemon
Darkrai and Sheymin obtained in the Japanese version through a glitch are not included; Legendary Pokémon that are below the level caught in game are not allowed, along with Pokémon that have like, 999 in every stat or something, I don't know, BUT THE POINT IS: don't.
I don't think that it should arouse suspicion. There are pokemon out there that are hacked, believe it or not, and the people here (myself included) can be a little paranoid when it comes to trusting someone they don't know. I think that due to the above provision, we can trust the people here, but it never hurts to be sure :).
