3rd Gen Regice

ok, i have pokemon: emerald, and i finally made it to Regice and saved the game. ive tried everything possible that has come to mind and on cheat sites. heres my strategy:

1. put vulpix at the top of the list before battling
2. use wil-o-wisp
3. let the burn take effect and keep using pokeballs (mainly timer balls)
(or)
1. put vulpix at the top of the list before battling

4. use pokeballs and use the master ball cheat (while the ball is in mid-air, hold B and UP until the ball is absorbing Regice, then hold B and A at the same time until the pokemon is caught)
...nothing is working

i dont know what to do...the burn kills it...and we all know how the timer balls work, because the longer the battle, the better the results. but, its still not working...what do i do?

I have a better idea:
Get a pokemon with sword dance AND false swipe, and a pokemon with spore/hypnosis/other attacks that can cause sleep then but ultra and timer balls.
0)Fight regice
1)Use sword dance 3 times
2)Use false swipe. It should be powerful, but leaves regice with at least 1 hp
3)Switch to the sleep and use whatever attack that cause sleep
4)Switch to another pokemon with the highest hp (unless the sleeper IS)
5)Ready to throw some ultraballs at regice! If it runs out, use timer balls.
Otherwise subsitute false swiper with a flamethrower pokemon, since regice can survive flamethrowers, including blaziken's and ninetails.

I know why yours doesn't works.
-Burn can't increase the chance of capture that much
-Using pokeballs alot of time won't help. I think the press button method can't work either, but most of all, you shouldn't have any doupts at all!

have a whole team of false swipers :P
well at least one, get his health down to yellow, switch the false swiper in, make it go down to 1 hp
your pokemon should be able to handle his attacks if they are higher than lvl 65 and not super effective against his attacks
paralysis is the best stat condition
burn and poison make it harder since they can kill

This legendary is the hardest to catch harder than rayquaza an other.
