    What regional mons do you guys have? Do you think we could benefit from a cycle and seeing them rotate?

    Personally I only have Mr. Mime :(
     
    Just Kangaskhan, which is the only one I can see here. I was in the US last year for a short bit but didn't see any Tauros. After that they increased the rate of regionals for a while. =(

    An event where they are common everywhere would be appreciated!
     
    I personally think regional Pok?mon are a massive middle finger to players. Especially those like me who don't have a passport and couldn't afford to travel the globe even if I did have one. And anyway, I certainly wouldn't do so just to obtain a few fictional creatures on a smartphone app.

    How can it be that you do not have a passport? Do you not have a citizenship of some kind?

    My passport expired about 10 years ago and I have no desire whatsoever to travel abroad. You don't need a passport to have citizenship. Lots of people don't have passports.

    This sounds like the USA. I would feel diminished and more vulnerable without a passport, i can freely move around in the EU with just my identity card, but with my english language skills and my passport i can go global at any time. If Central Europe somehow blows up, i would first try for South Korea. Japan is too restrictive when it comes to immigration, Australia might accept me, or maybe Hong Kong, if all that fails maybe Indonesia, India or Brazil. I have a passport, i have assets, and i have the right state of mind, so if things go to shit in my part of the world, i can move within hours.
     
    I only have Tauros at the moment. Eventually I'd like to visit home in south Florida and pick up a Heracross and Corsola while I'm there.

    I don't see the benefit in them rotating though. They're supposed to be exclusive for a reason. Rotating them would take away from that value.

    so people can actually complete the dex without spending thousands flying around the globe to get them
     
    In the very first ad trading was mentioned as being a feature in the game, and here we are 2 years later.

    Personally I don't like dealing with online trading with strangers. I'd prefer wonder trade for example where you could get a regional Pokemon. Of course I haven't seen a Tauros in months or else I would catch them and wonder trade them off if that was implemented.

    For the record I have Tauros and I have Kangaskhan as being seen from a gym. Which is good enough for me. But finding regional Pokemon in gyms are extremely rare. I have to agree that Niantic never cared about people collecting the Pokemon over battling hence why they made them available if you could spend thousands of dollars. Of course I see the people who have spent thousands of dollars on incubators as having them.

    Also I don't have a passport, I've only been to Canada and you don't need one to cross the border. I have no plans of ever taking a plane and to be honest with the terrorist attacks I don't think I want to take the risk for a Mr. Mime
