4th Gen Remade Red’s Team to be Good

The whole point of Red's team is that it's comprised of Pokemon guaranteed for the player to encounter during the story in Pokemon Yellow.

Pikachu: starter Pokémon.
Bulbasaur: gift in Cerulean
Charmander: gift north of Cerulean
Squirtle: gift in Vermilion
Snorlax: one of the two in Kanto (the other one, he presumably knocks out, which goes off, gets stronger and is encountered by the protagonist of GSC/HGSS three years later)
Lapras: gift in Silph Co.
Espeon: gift of Eevee in Celadon, evolved by reaching max happiness to demonstrate Red as a kind trainer.

So, your movesets are good, but Rhydon just doesn't fit. You could give him an Aerodactyl if you wanted, makes a bit more lore-sense.
