4th Gen Remake after?

    This question has been unanswered in my mind for a while and I'd like to see other's opinions on it.

    As you know, with each generation, there were two games followed by a third game that sort of was a mix of both.

    With:

    Red and Blue, came Yellow.
    Silver and Gold, came Crystal.
    Ruby and Sapphire, came Emerald.
    Diamond and Pearl, came Platinum.
    SoulSilver and HeartGold, came ??__Crystal??

    Is THERE going to be a re-make of crystal of some sort? Or is that still hanging in the air.
     
    Nope. All the features of Crystal are already in HeartGold and SoulSilver. They never made a Yellow remake to go with FireRed and LeafGreen. So why make a Crystal remake?

    Ah, I see. I totally realized that I had forgot to place FireRed and LeafGreen in my first post. Bleh. It would be awesome if they did though.
     
    They will never make "remakes" of the (3rd) game in a generation, since these remakes are remakes of 1 and 2, with features from all 3 games, and then some.
    Red + Blue + Yellow + Updates = FR/LG
    Gold + Silver + Crystal + Updates = HG/SS
     
    As said it's very unlikely - HGSS is already basically a Crystal remake as well as it has the majority of the features that set Crystal apart from Gold and Silver.

    As this discussion has been had many times before and gone the same way, going to close.
