...My thread wasn't locked? Well, I'm reposting my team to be RATED. 3rd gen people, same as always. I just got back from school and was shocked when I read my thread. After reading All the posts, I have a few things to say. First off, I'm open to any suggestions EXCEPT changing members. I don't see how that's being adamant about not wanting to make any real improvemnets to my team. If you have a problem with my pokemon selection and won't be constructive DON'T post here or I'll be pretty ticked off. Pretty simple. If you have a replacement you think would be good, I'd be happy to know, as long as you aren't bashing the pokes I've chosen. Again, pretty simple. No flame wars, no off topic flaming, just help me with my team, plain and simple. Rate out of 10 if you wish as well.

    Kingdra(lead)@Lum Berry**Hydromotor
    Trait: Swift Swim
    Modest Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 240 Special Attack, 18 Speed
    ~Rain Dance
    ~Surf
    ~Ice Beam
    ~Dragonbreath

My Special Sweeper. Kingdra sets up rain and sweeps away. Not sure about it as my lead, Scizor and Slaking do the job as well. Really packs a nasty punch with STABed surf with the rain in play. Great with the screens from hypno as well.

    Hypno@Leftovers**Hypcronus
    Trait: Insomnia
    Calm Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Special Defense, 6 Special Attack
    ~Reflect
    ~Light Screen
    ~Psychic/Thunderpunch
    ~Fire Punch

My Special Wall. Also serves as a fine pseudo-passer. Thunderpunch for type coverage and psychic for STAB. Hypno is an important part of my team and he won't faint easily with the screens in place. Helps Slaking and Kingdra take hits.

    Steelix@Leftovers**Metalicon
    Trait: Sturdy/Rock Head
    Impish Nature
    EVs: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Attack
    ~Roar
    ~Earthquake
    ~Explosion/Rock Slide
    ~Toxic/Rest

My Physical Wall. Steelix is also a toxishuffler and my PHazer, and counters many types. Toss up on the ability, as I probably won't use either one with the OHKO clause. Can recieve Swords Dance from Sizor and can be a nasty attacker as well.

    Scizor@White Herb**Chromo
    Trait: Swarm
    Jolly Nature
    EVs: 252 Attack, 132 HP, 126 Defense
    ~Baton Pass
    ~Silver Wind
    ~Swords Dance
    ~Aerial Ace

My Baton Passer. Scizor has AA to counter heracross. Silver Wind is great for BPing purposes if I get luck and it poweres me up. The EVs give Scizor enough strength to survive some physical attacks, and is once again great with the screens from Hypno.

    Blastoise@Leftovers**Doom-Elite
    Trait: Torrent
    Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 132 Special Defense, 126 Defense
    ~Rapid Spin
    ~Yawn/Rest
    ~Surf
    ~Seismic Toss

My Rapid Sinning Tank. My startegy is to use yawn to get them to sleep and then wreck havoc with seismic toss, and maybe surf over counter. Can rapid spin leech seed and all the annoying junk, and counters most of the bulky waters fine.

    Slaking@Choice Band**DaOHKOsMan
    Trait: Traunt
    Adamant Nature
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    ~Hyper Beam
    ~Shadow Ball
    ~Focus Punch
    ~Return

My Physical OHKO Sweeper. I have a great strategy for him. First, switch in on the special wall after hypno sets a screen or two, or even none would be fine. If I predict a switch, like from BLiss to Skarm, I use Focus Punch and...BANG. Can take out the physical and special wall if I use it correctly. His success depends on my prediction in some ways. Hyper Beam is the main weapon usually. Shadow Ball for Ghosts, Focus Punch for Steels, and Rock Slide for better all-around coverage. Note: I don't have the EQ TM, so I can't use it. He too can recieve attack from Scizor, so Hyper Beam is a sure-fire OHKO.

That's my team, as you know. Read what I said above if you haven't, and please help me complete my team.

I wouldn't rely on Silver Wind for a pass.

Well, I'm just passing swords dance. Silver Wind is a nice bonus, but I'm not really relying on it.

Figured that-too lazy to delete post. Return AND Hyperbeam is redundant. Return's max power is 120, or 102, or something along those lines.

Well, here's my reasoning. First off, slaking can't learn anything better. Return has 102 base power, 153 with STAB. Cool. It can OHKO many pokemon I'd think. Enter the world of Hyper Beam. It carries more power (75 more base power with STAB to be exact). However, you can't switch after Hyper Beam, so slaking would probably get matched with a counter and be destroyed. With return, I can switch out. So, I figured for the enemies I can't take down w/ return I use HB and otherwise use return. Understanding this is probably a flawed strategy, do any of you have a replacement for hyper beam? Or return if I keep HB?

Return's max base power is 102.

    Making Hyperbeam redundant.

Wait, I forgot! Slaking's effect makes the charge almost moot.

That was the point behind it...but it can't switch afterward...just read my last post. I explain it all there. Replacements for HB?

Hyberbeam is fine. Slaking doenst need to recharge after one becuase he is busy slacking.

Yeah, but he'll probably barely survive switching in, OHKO the target, and then be vulnerable to just faint cuz I can't switch. With return slaking can switch out and survive...or is the extra power needed? Gosh, I'm a wreck...

Well it is hard to say no to something that can do 300 base damage with STAB and Choice Band boost.

Forgot about CB. I think I'll use return, unless HB is truly a better option. Well, replacements for HB?

giga impact maybe??????? just an idea

Two words. Third, Gen. Honest mistake.

No Hyper Beam isn't that good on Slacking because he can't switch out after he uses it. Which allows Medicham, etc. to come in an OHKO him.

You have a weakness to fighting moves. Mr. Mime resists fighting moves and can be used to BP things if you want a BPer in addition to a Fighting resist.

Though Boah can really tear though a lot of things.

Hyperbeam sucks since during the recharging, you'll find a Choice Banded Heracross Blasting you with Brick Break. Return is better.

    that team is............. pretty good.

Wow, thanks...but any ideas for the move to replace Hyper Beam? I'm thinking Fire Blast...those skarms won't know what hit 'em. BTW, this isn't ingame like Spinespike said. I traded my EQ TM to get my hands on this TTar:

    IVs:
    HP-31
    A-31
    D-27
    S-24
    SA-30
    SD-31

EV trained and everything. Level 100. I have GC games like PKMN XD that I can start over to get the TMs...

But I'd rather not, unless slaking or another pokemon NEEDS a TM I don't have (only EQ). Well, any thoughts on slaking?
