Renaming Assistant Admins to Praetors

Uh, we have youngsters here who don't know what Praetors means. It would be a silly name change tbh.

This is stupid. 1. If they want their name changed, do it. 2. Discussing it in the VIP forum is like solely letting the senate choose the president. Which leads to 3. If you really think this was a thread worthy question, and that people should post their opinion on wether or wether not to change it then post it on one of the main forum boards..

If the assistant admins, themselves, want their title changed, I'm sure the community, or a portion of it would be polled, nonetheless. I'll admit that this is a somewhat frivolous community matter, so there's no real need to send it to CQ&F, and I didn't mean to imply that I value the opinion of a community supporter, over one of a regular member (which I don't). So there's no need to malign the opinion of another, instead of voicing your own.

Uhm, the senate can, and has, chosen US Presidents before, see 2001.

He was simply hinting at how it used to be Praetor, and that it would be pretty cool for it to return to that instead of the current AA.

No offense, but, I like Assistant Admins better than Praetors. So I'm going to say no here. Unless, of course, the AAs themselves want their name changed.

I honestly think the reason why they changed it from Praetors to AAs this time was dumb. People being unable to spell it, that's just silly. BUT I can accept that it was changed because this is a Pokemon Forum and not a Roman one. xD

Not to mention that few people here get the reference anyway. I know I didn't as a noob, but I remember when AAs were called Praetors. :3

As much as I'd love for that to come back, I believe that's something only the AAs themselves can decide on, and hang the rest of the reasons ffs, our AAs are workhorses who deserve the right to call themselves whatever they want. Am I right?

Last I checked all of the current AAs are equal to the SAs in voice anyway and could no doubt move up to that rank if they wanted to...but they prefer the green over the red. :p I don't know all of this to be fact, but I've been told. :3
