yeah i agree you people need to quit whining and move on

i myself think this thread should be closed soonbecause keeping this open for too long might cause a flame war to erupt...
 
Claire - Eh? I did a search for it, but didn't find anything... x.O; I've even posted there, how silly of me... x.x;

Blazey - Um, I never said I didn't want the rep system, it was simply a way to report abusive reps (i.e. explicit comments and such)... ^_^;

PT2K - How would it cause a flame war? o.O; Also, please leave that decision to the staff... ^^;

As far as rep goes, if I cared, I wouldn't have restarted my account, XD

I still think they should get rid of rep completey, it causes way to many probs here on PC.

No it doesn't. People just make a bigger deal then it really is. Same with post count. If people would realize thats its just a number, and that they can disable it, we'd be fine. As most people see it, rep means nothing when it comes to being a good member.

That's why, too many people care about it, and it is becoming more of a problem here. They have rep circles, and make a huge deal for one bad rep. It should just be disabled for everyone, It will stop those useless comlaints, and it causes some members to leave.
 
It's been said MANY times. There is no need to get rid of rep, just disable it if you don't like it, others might like it so no need to get rid of it for them.
 
Well, I have had mine disabled for awhile now, but I have seen members get too worked up over rep and things like that, some even leave, I just suggest that we get rid of it, but I can't do anything about it.
 
Still, it's common sense. If you don't want people giving you bad rep, the just turn it off. Most don't know they can do that.
 
I don't like the idea of giving bad rep anyways... >.>; But I think that disabling the ability to give out bad rep would be the best solution. xD;
 
I dont like to see reps near every postcounts at ALL. Very annoying.
 
If you disable the bar rep, then what is the purpose of reputation giving at all?
You need both the good and the bad, the only problem with bad rep is that many people abuse it alot. If this was taken care of then there woulnd't be a need to get rid of bad rep.

But if you look at it the right way, people are abusing the good rep too. They beg for it, and members provide without question. Abuse?

That's basically the same thing that you quoted, only worded differently. Both good and bad rep are abused. Don't like it? Disable your rep and ignore other people's reps. Simple enough.

Good...Now we just need to tell the rest of PC that, take her advice. It's all you need to do to get rid of your rep problem.

Claire how the heck did you find that. LOL!I just dont know. "BTW some one gave me a bad rep for my first post in that topic recently after seeing your link..LOL! See how much they care for that.

And anyway my Advice is that "Dont take Rep seriously at all". As she said nobody judges you by your rep. Though previously when this was not abused mods judged members by their rep only.

I dont think rep should be taken away from everyone ^^. Only from those who are to immature to handle the big responceabily (XP). I have had someone abuse my rep once or twice and its horrible. For those who just love rep I could understand why you wouldent want it abused. I still think if someone runs around P.C. just giving bad rep cause of your gender, beleif or other things, they shouldent have the abillity to give rep (or they should be banned)
 
I do not want to see my or everyone else reps, I want it all invisible- It been making me really uncomfortable ever since.
