[Scripting Question] Resting players pokedex information in game

Hi, so I'm trying to build a game in essentials v21.1 and would like to ask a Pokedex question. So in my game there's a part where the player can choose a random Pokemon, you can select a Pokemon and if your not happy, swap it for another. But my problem is that if you look at 5 different Pokemon then the Pokedex say's you've seen/owned 5 different Pokemon, which I don't want.

Is there a way to make this not happen as the player chooses a random Pokemon? I hope I've ecplained myself correctly...
