Reverse engineering is done through analysis of the structure and functionality of a device or system. It's usually done by disassembling a mechanical device or a software program and analyzing it clearly to either use it in maintenance or make a device/software that is the same as the original. It's basically a work of engineering art.

Do you like to someday learn how to RE? And do you support it?

Depends on the application and the original licensed rights. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's unethical.

Reverse engineering is taking apart an object to see how it works in order to duplicate or enhance the object. It is the process of discovering the technological principles of a device, object or system through analysis of its structure, function and operation.A famous example of reverse-engineering involves San Jose-based Phoenix Technologies Ltd.

I know how to RE any software to unlock the built-in serial key. There are plenty of tutorials on that, too, much to the ethical part. But I think to RE a licensed product from any company is unethical and something along product plagiarism.
