rewarding battles

He just said that he doesn't know what EV training is. (Well, he asked you, but presumably he would not ask if he already knew.) Battle him, by all means, but keep the ladder out of it.

Wow so what he doesn't EV train and is for all intents and purposes is a noob, but most people play for fun so no need to go all elitest on his ass guys, he has as much right to play as much as the next person.

im not a poor sap i have maxed out pokemon but only 2 have maxed out evs
and i cant battle until my internet restets so it will be faster.
 
EVs ain't even half of it. You got the natures and the IVs thrown into the mix, you have to think about those as well.

I'll battle gold team when things are sorted out. I've always wanted to try my non-ubers against ubers :3
 
But so what??? If he doesn't care about all that stuff so what? He is playing for fun not competition. It's not a crime people, lay off the guy.
 
But coming to this board assumes that you're playing competitively. Why? Because everyone here does. His perspective is irrelevant whether he "plays competitively" or not, because he is here, he is by definition being competitive. If he ever has any inkling of winning a match, he should go learn how to play. *shrug* Don't mistake it for elitism, I'm being truthful; that's how this board works.

Wrong, If this board is always known as competitive, then there should be a banner that says so. But since there is not, then this board should cater for all kinds of trainers, not just the competitive kinds. It dosen't really matter if the most people on Battle Satdium are competitive, anyone is welcomed and they can battle as much as they can. Now if the board members dosen't cater for non-competitive trainers then I for one think there should be a banner crossed slashed beside called Competitive Zone. lol

Bang on the buck. Nowhere does it say this board is only for people who only want to win and train EV's, it is for all people, and the fact that people want to have fun they shouldn't be criticized.
