People on this thread have pointed out that it is more difficult to get superbs in the DS. I think that it is because fever is nicer. In some of the wii games, I was sure that I was going to get a ok, but I got a superb. Then, during fillbots 2 on DS, I missedone robot, and got an ok.
Yeah, DS is a lot stricter when it comes to getting superbs. Fever got those moments too, where you can't get a superb on Figure Fighter or Samurai Slice if you missed the last one. I think the biggest culprit of this in Fever is Love Rap 2, where you have to get a repetitive phrase perfectly consecutively, and another part where you can't screw up. It's DS level stuff, and the hardest superb by far. :( On the other hand, I got a perfect on it on the first try because I was already used to it by then.
I actually really like that. It's really fun trying to get a superb when it's strict because then you know you can get a perfect. But at the same time, I love it when getting a perfect in a game is so tense and hard despite getting a superb on it. Hmm..
I feel exactly that way about games like Rhythm Rally or Moai Doo-wop. Even though I botch them up every chance I get, it feels very possible. And then there are games that feel as if I can never get Perfect (let alone a Superb), like Fever's Remix 10 or Tap Troupe... But man, the feeling you get when you finally earn that Perfect after so many attempts, I love it!
Me too! Well, I'd have to think about it a bit for Fever's, as it's been awhile. Speaking of Remix 10, someone animated a pokémon version of the DS one:
There's a good one of Fever's Remix 10 using Ace Attorney sprites too.
In other news, I just miraculously got 50 medals in DS! :D I guess getting that Perfect on Remix 3 put me in the right kind of rhythm to finally superb Fillbots 2. I missed two little robots completely in that one, with one of them being in the dark. And that Guitar Lesson on Frog Hop is fun!
