    A thread composed to nothing but RIDDLES!

    That's right boils and ghouls! This thread, I'll start by asking a riddle. IF you get it right, you ask the next riddle, so on, and so forth... It works like a chain reaction.

    And how do I know if I'm right or wrong?

    I am very skinny and very shy, when I'm born I live for no more than an hour and die. All that I do within this hour is seek out anything I can devour. When people see me they are never glad and when I leave they are even more sad. What am I?

    Actually, there IS an answer, yours was incorrect.

    And I did forget to mention that you have to KEEP guessing if you're wrong until you're right. And the whole "It doesn't have an answer" thing, is untrue. It's revealed BY Lewis Caroll after having asked that question by numerous fans.

    But for now, I'll let this slide. Carry on
     
    raven and a writing desk/...both can be black
    both can be thrown into the sky

    Yuyuko Saigyouji, and I shall explain.

    Yuyuko, as a human, was rather skinny and shy. She lived for a very short time, because, after being given the power to invoke death, she offed herself for the good of humanity.

    She is also a notorious glutton, who has been jokingly compared to the Planet Devourer.

    Additionally, she's the ruler of Hagyokoru, the happier equivalent of Purgatory, where she helps counsel souls so they can accept their fate.

    However, when she leaves them, they must go across the Sanzu River, and be judged by Sikeiki Yamaxanadu for their mortal lives, which, naturally, would sadden most people.

    Therefore, Yuyuko.



    Spin, spin, around the room,
    Yet never leave my place.
    Lacking mouth or mortal breath,
    Yet cool wind on your face.

    Yeah, you've never heard that one before. I'll guarantee it.

    If you have, I'll be shocked.

    The US military? (And no, 'twas not an Irish wife. The answer was "the goat in my basement.")

    I got it! It's a tornado!
    That shy statement got me completly confused, but I managed to get it! :D
