    i will start the person who gets it right will then post another riddle ect etc etc

    There are four brothers in this world that were all born together. The first runs and never wearies. The second eats and is never full. The third drinks and is always thirsty. The fourth sings a song that is never good. what are the brothers names?

    Cool, can I answer?
    Awesome.
    I think the names of the brothers are those elements: fire, water, air and I forget the last one.
    I think the one that runs is water because water...runs, lol, the one that eats is fire because it burns everything and never wants to stop, the one that drinks is...I don't know, and the one that sings is air because on a windy day the air outside "sings" but it's really annoying.

    Let me do one!

    There are three people in front of you. You know that:
    -One of them is God; he knows everything and always tells the truth.
    -One of them is the Devil; he also knows everything but always lies.
    -The third person knows nothing but answers questions as if he knows the answers. His answers, however, are completely useless and could be right or wrong.
    You can ask a total of three questions that can be answered with yes or no, each to one of the persons. You may choose who to ask and you may ask more than one question to the same person.
    Determine who is who...

    EDIT: Sorry, were you supposed to tell me if I was right before I posted the new riddle?

    EDIT: Alrightly, here's the solution.

    To make life simple, I'm going to call God G, Devil D and the random one R.
    These are the possible ways they could be arranged when you see them standing side by side.

    GDR
    GRD
    DGR
    DRG
    RGD
    RDG

    The questions should be asked about where they are positioned.

    I asked the following questions, but you could use a slightly different one to start off with:

    Question 1
    Is R immediately to the right of D? (asked to the person on the left)

    If they answered yes:
    GDR
    DGR
    RGD
    RDG

    If they answered no:
    GRD
    DRG
    RGD
    RDG

    If they answered yes to this question then R cannot be in the middle. If they answered no then R cannot be on the right.

    Question 2Y (only asked provided that the answer to Question 1 was yes)
    Are you R? (asked to the person in the middle)

    If they answered yes:
    GDR
    RDG

    If they answered no:
    DGR
    RGD

    If they answered yes, D must be in the middle because we know that R is not in the middle and we know D always lies. If they answered no, G must be in the middle because we know R is not in the middle and G always tells the truth.

    Question 2N (only asked provided that the answer to Question 1 was no)
    Are you R? (asked to the person on the right)

    If they answered yes:
    GRD
    RGD

    If they answered no:
    DRG
    RDG

    If they answered yes, D must be on the right because we know R is not on the right and D always lies. If they answered no, G must be on the right because we know R is not on the right and G always tells the truth.

    Question 3YY (only asked provided that the answers to the two previous questions were both yes)
    Is the person on the right G? (asked to the person in the middle)

    If they answered yes:
    GDR

    If they answered no:
    RDG

    Question 3YN (asked only provided that the answers to the two previous questions were yes and no respectively)
    Is the person on the right D? (asked to the person in the middle)

    If they answered yes:
    RGD

    If they answered no:
    DGR

    Question 3NY (asked only provided that the answers to the two previous questions were no and yes respectively)
    Is the person in the middle G? (asked to the person on the right)

    If they answered yes:
    GRD

    If they answered no:
    RGD

    Question 3NN (asked only provided that the answers to the two previous questions were both no)
    Is the person in the middle D? (asked to the person on the right)

    If they answered yes:
    RDG

    If they answered no:
    DRG

    Summary
    Y = yes and N = no to each of the questions respectively.

    YYY = GDR
    YYN = RDG
    YNY = RGD
    YNN = DGR
    NYY = GRD
    NYN = RGD
    NNY = RDG
    NNN = DRG

    Or, if you prefer, you can look at this diagram I drew on paint:

    Hopefully I didn't make any typing errors with all the Gs, Ds, and Rs lol.
