Hello
I am trying to change the rival overworld for FireRed. I keep encountering the same problem.. I am changing the overworld's palette and the pixeling itself using NSE Classic. So I import my bmp of my new rival, and in the drop down menu i select 'all' so that it imports the sprite and palette. It then replaces both. The pixeling has no issues. As for the palette however, it looks fine in game, and looks fine in NSE, but in the intro of the game, when it asks you to name your rival and you select new name, the walking overworld of the rival in the top left still has gary's original palette (old palette 5). I don't know why its doing this! I'm guessing that the intro uses its own version of pal5 or something and doesn't read NSE's palette, but thats just a guess. I've seen all these other FireRed hacks with completely new rivals and all look fine at that part, so there must be some fix! Please help... :(
Thanks
