This is another RMT. This time I need help with a double battle team. Ive never made a double battle team before so IDK if this team is any good. I tried to match them up so that they would have good synergy, but im not sure how to EV a pokemon for a double battle ( i read the double battle primer on smogon though) so without further ado...

    Electivire@ Charcoal
    Mild
    36Att/204SpA/54SpDef/252Spe
    Thunder bolt
    HP grass
    Cross Chop
    Heat wave

    Wash machine Rotom@ Leftovers
    Bold
    252Hp/168Def/88SpDef
    Discharge
    Will o wisp
    Hydro pump
    Light Screen

These are my openers. Rotoms Discharge boosts the speed of electivire, and hydro pump covers his ground weakness. Will o wisp can burn any potential threats, and light screen can protect both pokemon. Both move sets are from smogon. i think i should use those as this is my first team.

    Infernape@ Life orb
    Naive
    252Att/64SpA/192Spe
    Mach punch
    U turn
    Close combat
    Heat wave

u turn if he is in danger. Mach punch to finish off the foe when there HP is low enough. not much more to say.

    Rhyperior@ Leftovers (sturdy rock)
    Adamant
    136Hp/244Att/128Spe
    Earthqauke
    Stone edge
    Megahorn
    Substitute

Sturdy attacker. Can use earthquake to take on multiple foes. Has substitute if hes in danger. Most of my team is immune to earthquake. This has two benifits. Rhyperior can attack un inhibited, and earthquake is a fairly common move, so i will be protected from it.

    Gengar@ Choice scarf
    Timid
    4Att/252SpA/252Spe
    Shadow ball
    Thunderbolt
    Focus blast
    Explosion

Revenge killer. he is really fast, so can attack fast. he has explosion to take out big threats, and 4 Att to give it a bit of a boost.

    Crobat@ leftovers
    Timid
    104Hp/152SpA/252Spe
    Air slash
    Taunt
    Roost
    Super fang

Has air slash to counter fighting types. can taunt and then super fang walls. roost can heal him.

    thank you for reading.

I'm no pro at double battles, but I'd replace some moves with moves that hit both your opponents pokemon. Some examples are Rhyperior replacing Stone Edge with the more accurate Rock Slide, and changing Flamethrower on Infernape to Heatwave.

On Electivire I'd replace HP Ice with HP Grass, since Swampert will tank a lot of your hits, and if you focus your attack on Swampert, then the other pokemon is free to do whatever it loves doing. I'd also look at replace Charcoal with Expert Belt, or even Life Orb. Electivire really needs the damage boost.

But if i add heatwave, that would affect my pokemon also. I could add a heatran in there to get a fire boost, but that may be too many fire pokemon.

Really? I thought it hit both of your opponents pokemon only. I think you're thinking about Lava Plume :P If I'm mistaken I'm sorry for giving such useless advice.
