Apart from a few reoccuring move types on some of them, I'd say it's pretty good for a gimmick team. What's the point in having Beldum though? Take Down is hardly a class A move after all.

Really Totodile and Sunflora are both FRLG Pokemon... let's not contradict each other. I'll take them out and pu in Pokemon that i'll recommand (within RuSa limit)

Rest just makes things a lot more endurable... but at this stage an Abra is strongly recommanded as it's the Pokemon with the highest sp.atk being lvl 5 and non-ubar (plus the early access to elemental punches are nice). Ralts' stats are just too low...

Through breeding you can get flamethrower, roar and Will o Wisp (try both parents being Vulpix with will o wisp, roar and flamethrower ;p) Then you don't have to use crappy moves like Iron Tail. Roar for burn-shuffling. In this devision, Ninetales' defense is very impressive, enough to stall a bit like this. Use toxic if you're not using Ralts

Feel free to shuffle thunderbolt instead of psychic if you want. however you do need ice beam as it's just so helpful to have it.

If possible, switch Steel Wing to Hidden Power Ground. In this devision, pretty much Skarmory is king. (I think Skarmory still qualifies...? Or does it have to be Pokemon that can evolve? However since I see Plusle being used, I guess Skarmory can be too)

Another powerful physical attack tanker (not as well as Relicanth or Skarmory though). Besides Machop, it's the only brick break user possible pretty much... being ground type hopefully helps the electric weakness. However if Relicanth magically gets all 3 amnesia, thunderbolt are no threat to it.

Shiny Gardevoir: your pokemon need overall better stats and moves. or maybe you just need different pokemon. i'm into speed and power. it is the best combination along with good moves. power will take the pokemon out. speed will allow you to attack before your not so beefed up defense is taken advantage of. a good pokemon for your team would be a sceptile with an adamant nature. give it a apin.

if you did read carefully... this team is a lvl 5 Pokemon team so that's why all the Pokemon are so "low stats." ^_^; (Plus Sceptile is a better staller than sp.sweep with leech seed and sub)

Not all the time speed and attack power will win you game... strategies come into play too. Breloom has no speed but it's still very threatening due to spore/focus punch combo for example.

I still want to know if 1stage Pokemon are acceptable... they have a lot higher stats than anyone else for lvl 5 only team, but does that count as "cheat"?

Yes I know... but since this maybe link/online battling which has no clauses, there is really no strict rules on what Pokemon are acceptable (as it'll depend on the 2 players then)

However... an Abra should just be used... insane sp.attack and speed x.x;
