I've gone through so many revisions on my team it's sad. Here is the one I currently have in mind. It seems to have below average synergy, but I'm working on it. This team sucks pretty bad. Depending on the replies, I can hopefully find the right things to replace.
Alakazam @ ChoiceScarf
Modest
252 SP ATTK / 176 SPEED / 80 DEF
~HP Ice
~Psychic
~Grass Knot
~Focus Blast
My lead, and I'm happy to say it. Yes, I am a Zam fanboy. Anyhow, it covers QUITE a bit. Not afraid of Weavile since I can OHKO it with Focus Blast. Granted yes, bad accuracy. Depending on my mood, I can switch it out and survive a Pursuit or I can just try using FB again. Grass Knot for Swampert leads and any bulky waters that come my way, or just anything else weak to Grass Knot. HP Ice for 'dem Dragons, but the one thing that bothers me, well, two, are Gyarados leads and the lack of Shadowball. If Gyarados is a lead, I'm not totally sure what to do. I've never battled competitively before. The other worry was about losing Shadow Ball, but ah well.
Garchomp @ Life Orb
Jolly
252 ATTK / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
~Swords Dance
~Dragon Claw
~EQ
~Fire Blast
The standard Garchomp, or one of them at least. Really not much to say. I use to be set on keeping him on my team, but I don't know. The team I'm posting already has four Ice attacks. That's well enough for dragons and Elecitvire has EQ. I might keep this and change it to a ChoiceBand 'Chomp with Outrage though.
Milotic @ Leftovers
Bold
212 HP / 176 SP DEF / 120 SP ATTK
~Hypnosis
~Recover
~Surf
~Ice Beam
I have a feeling I might be taking Milotic out, I dunno. Having a sleep inducer on my team is nice, and recover is always a welcomed move. Can be used to cover for Forretress and Electivire, since, IIRC, Milotic can survive an EQ from Garchomp, but I need to double check that. Meh...I sure did explain this well. *rolls eyes*
Electivire @ Life Orb/Expert Belt
Lonely
252 ATTK / 176 SPEED / 80 SP ATTK
~EQ
~Ice Punch
~Cross Chop
~TBolt
Electivire. Oh Electivire. I added Electivire since for every team I've made, I've had some sort of electric weakness, so what better Pokemon, besides ground types, to receive a nice hearty T-Wave, TBolt, etc. than Electivire! Covers quite a bit of types. I have a lot of repeating move types though, and that bothers me quite a bit. Maybe can play some mindgames with people on this via switching out Garchomp to receive an electric attack and later send out Electivire? I dunno, I haven't battled before competitively like I've said, so you can point and laugh.
Forretress @ Leftovers/ Shed Shell/ Macho Brace
Relaxed
252 HP / 162 ATTK / 96 DEF (I really am not sure on this at all...)
~Spikes/Stealth Rock
~Gyro Ball
~Rapid Spin
~Explosion/Rest/Light Screen
My Rapid Spinner and Spiker/Stealth Rocker. Honestly, I'm kinda' iffy on relying on one Pokemon for both Spikes/Stealth Rock AND Rapid Spin. Gyro Ball is for some attacking power, and even more so with Macho Brace, but given this Pokemon isn't based solely for attacking, I might give it Shed Shell. What I want to do is switch it in for something, set up, and switch out. Covers for quite a bit of my Pokemon. If I don't feel like taking Weavile on with my Zam, I can take a pursuit and send out Forretress to set up. Can cover for Milotic, Garchomp, and Zam. I really don't want to use Explosion with my Forretress, and if that's the case, I'll probably end up taking some of those attack EVs and put them into SP DEF. Rest is always nice for healing, but I don't want things wailing on Forretress. Finally, I can use Light Screen since my team is pretty weak defensive wise.
The final Pokemon is a bit of a problem. Right now it's just temporary, and besides, I doubt I'll be keeping this team anyway.
Heracross @ Choice Scarf/Band (Most likely ScarfHeracross)
Adamant
252 ATTK / 152 SPEED / 104 HP
~Megahorn
~Close Combat
~Stone Edge
~Night Slash/Pursuit
I'm really iffy on this. My team has hardly any tanks. Period. That's very bad in my opinion, and I'm sure everyone else's. Heracross brings in some nice protection for Zam at least, and fills my Psychic/Ghost weakness with Night Slash or Pursuit. Hits pretty hard with all of it's attacks.
This team has major flaws, and I meant to do a threat list, but I got lazy. If at all possible, I'd like to keep the Zam and Forretress combo. I'm not sure how well it'd work, but I'd like to try it out at least.
Thank you to the people who took the time to read another crappy RMT topic.
