Shiny Gold - really - thats spam, it doesn't help.

Gorebyss has one of the highest Special Attack stats for water types - use that to your advantage - DO NOT USE BATON PASS.

Penguin, the BP set works pretty well for gorebyss. It is too slow to sweep, as kingdra swift swim sweeps far better...and agilipoleon also works. The BP set is fine, but I prefer agility over one of the defenses, since critical hits happen. X-Scizzor>silver wind in 4th gen for Scizor. No shadow ball on miltank either...it's special. For vire, consider thunderbolt over Tpunch for skarmory.

IMO, defense and special defense aren't good stats to pass. Since you're leading with Gorebyss, basically any electric can switch in and KO you. Even after an amnesia, I'm pretty sure Zapdos will OHKO you, with your current ev's. And here's a question for you- Why does Scizor have silver wind? That's a special attack. Same goes for shadow ball on Miltank.

I'm not really keen on having more than one BPer per team...unless it's a BP team, but those are made of epic fail.

Basic Swift Swim set. Hurts quite a lot with that base SpAtt, STAB Surfs from this thing do significant damage. Psychic is a very under-used attack type, it may not have great coverage, but it gives stuff like Gengar and Weezing pause for thought. Beware Crawdaunt LOL

That's a waste, psychic isn't worth it. Gorebyss needs hp grass or electric, otherwise you'll get walled by all sorts of things.

I guess that's true. HP types are still a pain to get though with a high power
