Pokemon Spirit Chrome

Story

The Legend of Pento

The world was a dark and empty place...
Then, the Original One came...
It created the universe and the beings to protect it.
They are known as the Legendary Pokemon.
Then, the Original One created other beings...
One of its creations was man.
It and the Legendary Pokemon also created the regions of Earth.
They created Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Pento.
Humans and Pokemon then went to different regions around the world.
Their work done, the Legendary Pokemon scattered to different places around the world, rarely ever to be seen again.

The Present Day

You are a 13 year-old boy/girl who lives in the area known as Pallet Town, Kanto. You lived a normal life just like everyone else in Pallet Town, except for the fact that you weren't interested in Pokemon and becoming a trainer.
You always thought that Pokemon were boring.
Then, the disasters started happening. Earthquakes struck major cities. Tsunamis coated the land. Volcanoes erupted. Blizzards struck some towns.
The region where most of the disasters are happening is in faraway Pento. Each island now has its own climate.
However, some disasters struck cities in Kanto through Sinnoh as well.
An earthquake soon hit Pallet Town, only to see no damage when you go outside!
Curious about the catastrophes in the regions, you study Pokemon unwillingly because you know that going into the wild alone is dangerous.
One day, while you are studying Pokemon, you realize something.
You actually enjoy studying Pokemon.
Eager to begin you journey, you rush to Prof. Oak's Lab.
However, he has no more Starter Pokemon to give to you.
Disappointed, you go home.
The next morning, you hear a scream.
You rush outside to find out what it was about.
You find that it was only an Eevee wanting to play with a little girl.
Prof. Oak then hands you a Poke Ball.
He tells you to throw it at Eevee.
(No battle sequence happens here as you don't have a Pokemon.)
Before going off into Route 1, you try to make friends with Eevee.
You then notice something peculiar about it.
You then realize that the Eevee was the Pokemon that made you dislike Pokemon!
You then try to figure out how that happened though, but you come up empty handed.

(The Next Day)
You wake up like every other morning. Nothing special.
You go into your backyard to make sure that Eevee, who slept there for the night, was okay.
To your relief, Eevee was completely fine.
However, when Eevee gets up, you find something where it was sleeping. It was smooth and rectangular.
You take this object to Oak.
He examines the stone-like object carefully and tells you that it is a Plate.
He elaborates and tells you that a Plate is a very rare object that powers the Original One. One Plate exists for each type.
He then tells you that the Plate you found was an Earth Plate. It might have had to do with the earthquake in some way.
Your questions answered, you finally begin your journey, and set foot in Route 1.
But you have more questions.
How did this Earth Plate suddenly appear?
Was it linked to the earthquake in Pallet Town?
Because of the other natural disasters in other parts of the world, are there Plates in other cities and regions as well?
You hope to find answers to your questions and you wish to solve the mystery of the Natural Disasters.

Thanks! I just fixed the error I got while testing, so I can continue working. I'll post some screenshots in a few minutes.

Kyledove's should be good for now, but I think once we get a Tile Maker, we should have our own custom tiles and save Kyledove's for occasional use.

but not easy to do. Think carefully about the features, not just check em' out

As I said, I want criticism on my storyline, and when I get the complete ones, maps, sprites, etc. But not the features!

Well, this game's different. I think 1 region goes incredibly fast and doesn't pose a challenge. 5 regions would take approximately, depending on how fast you're playing, 60-70 hours to complete, and I will keep it fun so players don't get bored.

VarietyVidsnet: I don't like the CC on my features because I know that my choices are FINAL, so it does nothing for me except knock me down a bit, and this led to the cancellation of my other game. I'm not prepared to let this happen again.

Well I think that you should have the game have different starters than usual.
