Roaming Pokemon Natures

In my Pokemon Soul Silver, I'm up to the part where I can catch Latios, so I've been hunting him down. I'm aiming for a nature-benefitting Latios, such as Rash or such, but I've only found Docile twice. Is the nature thing for this Pokemon set or will it vary each time?

Once you interact with Steven in Vermillion, the Latios's nature is set. As such, you will always encounter a Docile one. :(

In order to have a new nature Latios, you must defeat Latios and rechallenge the Elite 4. I have read this nice feature in numerous articles.. Basically, if you KO a legendary Pokemon, it will return after you defeat the E4. :)

What happens if I've rechallenged the Elite4 several times BEFORE I caught this? 'Cause I've already beat them like 5 times and THEN decided to hunt down the Latios :( Thanks for replying!
And oh yeah, since this is like my first time posting/making a thread, did I do post it in the correct section?

Sorry to say, but you didn't. When you have a question like this, just post it in the simple/quick question and answer thread that goes with the game you're talking about. In this case, it would have gone in HGSS. But no harm done.
