Roby's Battle animation pack link has expired but you can use it just give credit to the creator.

sorry, but they are a bunch of graphics that are useless to me. what I'm looking for are animations, not graphics.

There are animations too. In the zip There are two folders. In data folder PokemonAnimation.rxdata and move.dat replace this to your games data folder then compile. Then it will work.

If you want better animation then download pokemon reborn or rejuvenation and replace their PokemonAnimation.rxdata and move.dat with yours. Copy graphics/animation into your game then compile.
