    Welcome to Rockman's Banners and Stuff!!!

    I've recently discovered more advanced features in Photoshop and now making banners and signatures have become a hobby of mine. It has also given me great practice for my future career, so bonus! ^_^

    Here are some samples of what I've done:

    The phrase was gonna be "Respect my authoritay!" but that's a bit cliche, don't you think.

    Would've had more to this, but I was lacking inspiration because I've never played a Pokemon Ranger game in my life!

    Infernape has become one of my favorite Pokemon and so I used him to test my ability at making fire in Photoshop. NOTE: InfernapeFan392 does not exist.

    This is the one I use for myself. Luxray is my favorite, and the lightning is epic. Don't you think so?

    Features Zekrom from Pokemon Black and White. The Pokemon is surrounded by both darkness and light.

    So those are some samples of what I can do. If you would like a signature made, then just post a reply describing how you want it to look and what Pokemon, phrases, username etc., should appear.

    I'm also looking for ideas of what to do, so even if you don't plan on using one of my sigs, I would appreciate it if you just gave me an idea of what I could do. Just to keep me busy. Thanks!

    What version of Photoshop are you using?
    I won't be too harsh (I can never be harsh when commenting so I'll leave that to other members) As most of the other graphics members here would say it looks like a plain render and text slapped on to a background. I suggest you take tutorials - They really help. Try make the text and render fit the background as well.

    Keep practicing and you'll definitely get better
     
    Thanks for the advice. I'm using CS4. I've just started doing these, and any feedback is great.

    I've been following different tutorials so I'm still just a beginner.
     
    I started around the same time as you but last year and I also started with CS4. I can say you are better of than when I started
     
    Sure, if you want one, I can make one for ya. But I've just started using Photoshop and am trying to hone my skills so any kinds of ideas are great. ^^
     
    I was wondering if you could do a Mewtwo-themed sig, with a mysterious, blue-colored background? As for phrases, have it say, "A mysterious Pokemon."
     
    I made two version, one with a fog effect and one without a fog effect. I used the tutorials for stocks and effects and all that jazz. I hope you like it.

    Your latest one is definately your best. You need to work on your tags. More tutorials would probably help, and try finding different brushes and C4Ds. These can make your picture look so much more. Otherwse, just practise!
     
    Thanks for the feedback. I've been doing tutorials and posting new tags based on what I learned from them. You guys' feedback has also been really helpful.
     
    Thanks for the comment. I recently did this one for Zekrom. It's supposed to be cloud in darkness with bright light shining in the background, kind of like the way it was on the box art.

    Nice! im using cs4 too, i havent been using it for a year yet, but i think im pretty decent :P
     
    Hmm, the luxray is nice but overall everything is average. I suggest you look at some tuts, they helped me get where I am.
     
    Yup, you bumped it. I'm not sure if the rule applies to shops though. Anyways:

    @dragon0fangz: Could you explain what you want in more details. I'm not sure if you're asking for a banner or avy, or both, so just add some more details and I'll be happy to get started.
