"Rom base/hack of" tag?

Is there any kind of tag to search hacks just by the rom they use as a base?

Because I was searching for platinum roms, and I found ONE rom in the first 6 pages. The rest were all others, mostly from the advanced generation and it was a little frustrating to me. :disappoin

There aren't many 4th Generation hacks out there, so there probably won't be a lot you can find.

Oh and you should leave hacking questions in the Emulation forum, not here.

No DD, she's talking about the base ROM, not the ROM base. There's a difference. Anyways, I'm very sure that there are tags for each hack (FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald..etc) but 4th gen and above hacks are not really that many unlike those of the advance generation hacks. So if you're searching a hack for Platinum you might find only a few while more advance gen hacks.

Would you happen to be talking about "prefixes"?
(The things that appear next to the title, called "Platinum Hack:", "Emerald Hack:", etc?)

If so, go down to the bottom of the page (these prefixes only appear to be in the Hacks Showcase), and go to "Display Options" to the left.

You'll see:

Sort Order

From The
Prefix

Click on the dropdown menu under prefix and click the type of ROM hack you want, followed by "show threads" next to it. Then it'll automatically search all hacks with that type of ROM hack in the title. :)
