I collect rom hack cartridges. If you collect cartridges too, or just download them, share what hacks you have, and where you get them.

I always get my hacks from here. I always patch them with My Boy emulator for Android, and if you're looking for ROM hack cartridges, I know a place to get them cheap (will not share publicly, probably not allowed). ROMs I have downloaded:

    • Ruby Destiny series
    • Ash Gray
    • Liquid Crystal, Crystal Dust and Shiny Gold
    • Normal: Elemental Division
    • Adventure Red Chapter
    • Many more...

As for cartridges I had Pokemon Quartz, Pokemon Naranja, Pokemon Darkcry, Pokemon Chaos Black, and Pokemon Shinygold.

As for ROM's I played most of the ROM hacks available here on PC e.g.(AshGray, LP, CrystalDust, Flora Sky, DR, etc.) and delete them afterwards.

Were Dark Cry and Chaos Black even completed or near to completion? I'm aware that Chaos Black was filled with strange things and bugs, and that mitchel1's Dark Cry was stolen by Japanse people... but I don't know if either of them was completed or even intended to be played already.

I was able to finish Dark Cry lol since it's just remapped and changed pokemon sprites and names and it's still basically FireRed with a new look. Plus, you get infinite Lvl. 30 Mew's in cerulean city and I found a stash of hidden rare candies as well. I feel like a god playing it as a child.

As for Chaos Black I wasn't able to get past Mt.Moon as there is freaking water blocking the stairs. -.- Although I very much liked the fakemon in Chaos Black. :)

Mt. Moon is an early area in the game, so it was basically unplayable?

Yeah the place where I bought it ripped me off it was probably an alpha version lol.

I still know a website where you can still buy several ROM hacks. I once encountered a foreign man on a jumble sale who was selling a copy of Pokémon Arcoiris, I don't remember the price, but I'm sure it was a crazy high price he demanded for the game.

I'd rather not buy anything now that I can download them lol.

Yeah you never know. Those fake cartridges tend to have a colourless game cartridge right? Did those games have any instruction books, or screenshots printed on the back of the boxes? Show them off!

I kinda threw the boxes as a kid and no none of them have instruction books as for transparent cartridges the only one I have like that is shinygold the rest are plain black cartridges. XD (Note that these are my cartridges from 7-8 years ago I don't know where in the world they are in my room lol)

Hi, I use the MyBoy Emulator for android as well.
I believe one of the games I'm trying to play needs patching, but I have no idea how to do it...
Could you give me a brief description of how you do it?

Yes, I just made a topic how you can patch it using My Boy emulator. If you want to see a video on how to do it:

The topic isn't accepted yet, so the more advanced instructions are still in the make.
