    Hello, as you can see by my portrait (or lack thereof) I am a new member here. I have a question as to which programs would be best for hacking Ruby. I want to edit sprites, abilities, events and maps...basically the whole works. If you can please tell me which programs would be best for such a task and if it all possible please include links to the program so I can download. If you don't wish to place a link the please feel free to just say which program/s would be best. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
     
    Hex editors? I've been told they edit everything, theres also a program I used when I used to dabble in hacking, its called elitemap
     
    You might want to read the section descriptions more if you're new hear.

    As you can see the description of our section clearly says in bold it's not related to hacks.
     
    You need to check the rom hacking section, im gunna report this and get it you moved.

    Anyway Advance map is the best for map hacking, there's stuff like pokestarter for changing the starter pokemon, pokescript, for compiling new scripts, and theres loads more, they know more about it in rom hacking than I do, so your best asking them.
