4th Gen ROM issues.

    So when I play SS on desmume 0.9.7 I can only get about up to the sprout tower than I'll use the escape rope and it will crash. Like it will just freeze. The music will still play but I can't move around. I don't know what to do anyone know a solution?
     
    You'd want to ask in the Emulation forum rather than here - they should have a question/help thread sticky too. This section is about the games themselves rather than helping with emulating the games, so going to close.

    My guess is either it's a faulty rom or an unpatched one - HGSS has an anti-piracy thing in which the game freezes after a set number of 'events' in the game from 'turning the game on', which occurs more frequently the more badges you get very quickly. You can google such a patch if you don't have it.
