it's finished, but I'll have to check if everything works allright.
and then I need more informations about the other scripts ^^
(first I have to find out why my level script isn't working appropriate yet -.-').
I have a presentation on friday so I have much, and I mean REALLY MUCH to do O.o
Have to read about 120 pages of a book, make the presentation with interpretation tomorrow, have to learn it tomorrow and will presentate everything on friday.
but...this is the LAST WEEK for teacherst to give us marks, so after friday....I can script as much as I want ^^
so pls be patient, this presentation is important ;)
 
skill: scripting
past experiences: so far, on pokemon amber.. (not yet started)
contacts: pm/email/ym/msn (see vcard) EDIT: fixed my msn ^^

All scripts require changes with advance map (extra people, edit script tiles)

Emerald, tile scripts, the same except movements.. pokescript (my first test scripts)

-does not work without hex editing (should I post it as well?)

There was supposed to be a script after script 3.. another level script when you exit the house.. but it got deleted when I shifted to xse. I'm gonna create it anyway...

do you know how to make level scripts?
then I'd say you are in if everybody's allright with it, you proof looks good but most important is level scripting at the moment ^^
 
yep, its easy. It's just like script tiles, except there is no script tiles.. the variable and var number are inserted via hex editing.. Well, I do it manually because I find using advance map to edit the variables a hassle.
 
it would be GREAT if you could write me a pm with a brief explanation of this (i understand scripting really well, so it doesn't need to be really detailed. I just have problems with this ^^'').

Alright. I'll wait for Track to send me the details. He should be done with his report soon.

In the meantime, I guess I'll make myself a little useful. In Track's sig, it says you need music inserter. Is it true? I'm trying to learn sappy at the moment.
 
yeah good, I can use sappy so-so, but with problems xD
And looping is a problem -.-'
I know how to do it, but somehow it wents wrong everytime xD

Okay, I sent adiktus the script for legend of Fenju. I tested it as normal script if you enter the center, so it's on a warp and will be activated if you step on it the second time.
I forgot to delete it, pls do this adiktus ^^

The script works without problems, the flags are allright and after the script the mother is back in the house and says: Hurry up, you have to tell ARCHIE what happened!

And now I'll check the FoR script, if it's allright I need detailed information on the next ones.
Maybe adiktus want to help, just to make a script in flame of rage too?
I believe I can make it alone, but it could be interesting for you ^^
 
I've done the level script. I'll send the patch back to M_T for further pruning. I'm free mostly on weekends, though I can do a little bit of scripting on weekdays...
 
ok i got it, but ill check it tomorrow/later (has something to do with alcohol^^)
ill give you feedback then
