I just wanted to make a discussion about this anime and see if anyone likes it as much as I do.

    Have you seen/read this anime/manga?
    Do you like it?
    How would you rate it?
Is it one of your favorites?
    Have you seen both seasons?
Do you think there will be a third season?

    Discuss on other things too.

I enjoyed this very much as well. I especially liked the vampire version of Moka. I rate it an 8/10 because there was too much fanservice. It can't be called as one of my favorites. I hope there will be a third season; I want more Moka-vampire-san!

I watched both seasons a few weeks ago and really liked it. RV did overdo it's fan service aspect but apart from that there was enough of a story to watch without cringing. I'd probably rate it at around 6.5/10 as it's plot could have been thought up in about 5 minutes by......well most people.

Mizore *Stare*, Moka and Ruby were my favourite characters if i remember correctly.

I do hope there will be a 3rd season but can't see it to be honest with you.

Oh and if you're looking for something similar to watch i would really suggest you give To Love-Ru a try. Similar plots although the cute, pink haired lead character is an alien instead.

Ah, good! I was beginning to think no one liked R+V D:
I am obsessed with it XD

I tried watching To Love ru but it kinda creeped me out o.o

Not sure how many people would have seen it but there wasn't really a lot to dislike imo.

Ahh k, sorry to go OT but what creeped you out about it?

I seriously loved R+V when I first saw it this summer. It was the first anime I saw this summer and it made me want to watch more.

That girl's outfit and her robot thing was weird.

I have watched both seasons of the anime and I don't intend to read the manga (although I think I heard that the creators of the anime butchered it and the manga was a lot better). Sure, I liked it, but I don't love it, so it's not one of my favorites. I wouldn't mind if there was a third season, but if there was one out, I would wait a while before watching it.

I rated both seasons an 8/10, but then lowered them to a 7/10 after some time (I tend to do that) because it didn't leave a lasting impression on me; it was just entertaining and somewhat enjoyable. Plus, I'm not a fan of fanservice.

Evil Moka and Mizore were probably my most favorite characters from that show. The whole female monster protagonist with a split personality reminded me of Elfen Lied, but that's not necessarily a good thing. I like it when an anime is original.

The manga is much different and goes in a different order then the anime. It has more details too. I just finished the first season.

Oh Charizard I know we have been over this before n.n. Yes I have watched every single last episode of the anime and read every chapter of both seasons of the ongoing manga. Yes I do love it andit has slowly made it to my favorite list, the manga is higher up than the anime though. What I don't like about the anime is how ot os to fanservicy and doesn't actually follow the manga. Thats some of my dissappointments but the characters designs , and the harem, and the action are so great and gives the show it shining edge in my eyes. Because of the abrupt way the anime ended they should consider a season 3 seriously. Maybe that will allow for more things to add from the manga, which seems pretty tough to do considering how dark the manga is compaered to the anime.

I've seen the anime and I am up to date with the manga. Manga is probably better since the whole second season of the anime was just the filler of the first season's manga and the introduction of Kokoa. It was a bit disappointing if you read the manga since Tsukune is still useless in season 2. Also they changed the three great demons heavily implying the most important and the leader of them never existed based on the words of Moka's father.

Edit: I remember the reason they visit Moka's father. Sorry I made a mistake, the final episode heavily implies two of the Great Demons never existed.

How does it imply that? We already know two of the Great Demons.

Warning don't read if you can't handle spoilers and don't come cussing at me when you do read it and got part of the story ruined.

    Spoiler:

Yes that spoiler is true....that's why the manga I far more superior than the anime. And Kokoa is slightly more cooled off in the manga than the anime as well.

I didn't click the spoiler, so I'm guessing its something important. I'll get to it after I finished R+V.

Yeah its a major spoiler but yeah continue reading the manga. I love the season 2 because everything starts getting real serious. It took me at least 3-3 days to read from the beggining of season 1 to the end of season 2. It really sucks that the series is released monthly.

    I know D:
I just finished up the second season manga and now I got to wait for a new one D:

    Hopefully theres a third season.

Its is really tempting because you want more xD. I can see why he releases monthly though because he add SO much detail to every panel. Something unlike the Shonen 3 that is released every week ya know.

What did you enjoy in the second season of the manga eh :3?

I loved it. I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm probably going to wait till the end of the school year then read them. That way I don't get all frustrated xD
