every time i try to load rpg maker 2000 or 2003 it says "rpg maker 2003 runtime package is not present or is not registered" what do i do?

You need an rtp and wrong spot to post this.

Meh, it doesn't matter. You need two seperate installations to run rm2k: The actual program executable and the RTP. The RTP stands for Run Time Package. This consists of all the files (charsets, chipsets, etc) that you will need to start building your video games. When both are installed, it should run smoothly. Usually the site that you download it from provides both.

Anyway, if the site you found RM2K doesn't have the RTP,
check rmdownloads.com like it says in the FAQ.
