And for your information, the privately owned site is NOT crumbling, and is NOT just a fanfiction site. So before you make rude remarks I would get your facts straight.

My statements are no different from your initial reception.

Denali. Join one of the already successful leagues, or create something truly original and interesting which will stand out among them and earn its place. Challenge us, fight alongside us. But do not do this. You saw the comments when your league first opened. We have leagues already consisting of 8 type based gyms followed by an elite four. We've been there. We did that. New ideas will survive. If you do not have new ideas, then come and hang out with those who did, partake of them, find friends, enemies, learn, battle, lose, win.

I'm sorry candy for not being that active. I just have a lot of other stuff right now.... But that is no excuse. I will be more active.

This is a very friendly community. No one here will hold it against you. If you revise your league and make it something truly new and interesting, I shall support you. If you instead choose to partake of the leagues already standing and successful, then we will be glad to have you.

Rules: 6v6 Single Battle, Standard Cause, one OU is allowed in battle, No OHKO, and Berries are the only items that can be held.

Just something different.
 
Thanks for the advice, Scientist Davis. I have decided to close down the league. My apologies to all of the Leaders in my league. Scientist Davis is right. You should join a league that is original and that need Leaders. This league was one of those that stole from the better, more original ones. So with out further ado, I close this league. When I have a more original idea, I will be back....

Alas, you are right. The three months difference between our respective stays in this humble establishment cast a woefully impenetrable depth of wisdom upon your status. So deep is the chasm of social position between our join dates that I cannot imagine where in this dismal reality hope for salvation might be found on my sake.

Excuse me while I burn myself alive in public.
 
One can have a really old account and yet have almost no posts.
I'm serious. I have a few hundred posts around here but it doesn't show on my postcount because most of my posts are on the wifi thread where posts don't count.

Reputation is something you earn with achievements, that would be my gues.

Denali, good decision for closing down this league. You are welcome to join or fight any other active league of your choice. :)
 
I appreciate the support Candy, but Scientist Davis is right. We have to allow the more original leagues to thrive, and the copy cat ones to die. I do apologize for this sudden action, but it is what I must do....
I'll tell you what.... When my new (and original) league comes out, I will reserve a spot for you and the other leaders. This is only fair, as you continued to support the league (even though the league was very short lived).

candyshop, the number of posts and the length of time present do not matter. i know that scientist davis has the right to be a reputable person, and it is well earnt.

if you judge someone on number of posts, well, lets just say its a bit stereotypical.
