Simple question, which games do you prefer (or shall I say series)
Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald or FireRed and LeafGreen?

    :t354:TG

    I like RSE.

    The Battle Frontier was awesomesauce.

Lmfao are you bored or something TG? Uhhh yeah FRLG rocks because it is a classic remake. I think that emerald is slightly more fun because of the battle frontier (well.. a LOT more fun) but I will always love FRLG.

FRLG weren't great remakes, in my opinion. They're also my least favorite in the series. RSE gets my vote here.

R/S/E, FR/LG simply lack the awesomeness of R/B/Y, and the Hoenn region is quite funny, since theres a lot of weird stuff like a volcano, a desert, an underwater city, etc

FrLg for sure. I did not like Hoenn at all. Too many water routes, boring new Pokemon, not enough of the good old Pokemon (and a lot of the ones they included weren't that great), and just all-around not fun. FrLg I felt struck a good balance between keeping true to the originals and adding enough new content to make the game more interesting. The Sevii Islands were a great after-story adventure, and I enjoyed the remixed music.

this says it all, hoenn was crappy

I'll have to say Emerald, even though I never owned it. I would have liked the Battle Frontier... (I don't have Platinum, looking forward to HG for BF.) The only Hoenn game I have is a pirated Ruby. <_< I have FR as the real thing, but it sucks they took so many features out of it that were in R/S/E. Time being the biggest one.

FR/LG for the win. <3 Mainly because they brought back remixes of Johto Music. The only problem is that you just can't get Lugia so easily. All these events and stuff are just annoying. :[

RSE owns.End of story, and they will always own.

Firered is still one of my favourite game, but Emerald was the only one that really stood out of the hoeen trio.

I still play both of them alot, and i just can't decide which one that's the best. Emeralds battle frontier was awesome in emerald. However i like the pokés in FR/LG better.

I love both LeafGreen and Emerald. The rest are not that fun.

And as reported, inside the codes of RSE, there are a lot of Johto Music, especially Ruby, Like Route 23, Rocket Battle Music, Crystal Legendary Dogs Battle Music...

Also, Ruby and Sapphire, well, has a storyline. R\B\FR\LG is just the normal be-champ-and-defeat-rocket. Emerald is more like be-champ-encounter-two-epic-teams-and-try-to-stop-Groudon-Kyogre-Awaken-Rayquaza-Battle Frontier-Epic-Underwater. Who wins?

Except for the fact my first game was a LeafGreen, I would've chosen RSE. However, I've chosen both.

I voted both. I like FRLG as I like Kanto better than Hoenn (and I also think most of Hoenn's pokemon were just stupid) but then again, Emerald has an epic storyline that FRLG just can't seem to match for me.

I feel the starters were best in RSE though. IMO, Venusaur and Blastoise weren't all that great. Charizard, Sceptile, Swampert and Blaziken kicks ass.

When I get to borrow my friend's FR, i'll choose Charmander just for the sake of gettting Suicune. (I have a Modest Charizard in Emerald already - Hallelujah!)

So to be honest, I feel that both FRLG and Emerald are some really great games.

    FR/LG
    A. they are easier to hack
    B. it's a classic

but i hate the way they changed charizard from good (R/B/Y)
    to REALLY BAD.
