Since Gallade is my favorite Pokemon, I decided to make a team based around it.
Gallade:
-Bulk Up
-Drain Punch
-Night Slash
-Substitute
Nature: Careful
EVs: 240 HP/212 SDef/56 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Justified
I wanted a Gallade that can last long throughout the match, so I thought the Bulk Up set might be a good one to use. Considering that Gallade is my favorite Pokemon, I don't want it to be replaced, even though other set suggestions would be nice too.
Druddigon:
-Stealth Rock
-Dragon Tail
-Fire Punch
-Glare
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Rough Skin
Originally, Accelgor was in this slot for its ability to get hazards up fast, but it had a tendency to go down quickly and have its hazards Rapid Spun away later on. Thanks to its good bulk, Steelix can get down Stealth Rock again if it gets Rapid Spun away. Steelix was originally in this slot as well, but it was too slow to do much. I went with Druddigon as my Stealth Rock setter because of its good offensive presence, even though its set is currently defensively oriented. Glare helps solve the team's Speed issues. I opted for Fire Punch over Earthquake to hit Cryogonal and Escavalier hard without having to phaze them out.
Qwilfish:
-Spikes
-Waterfall
-Pain Split
-Taunt
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP/240 Def/16 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Chose to replace Slowking with Qwilfish for even more hazard support to use in conjunction with Druddigon's Dragon Tail, while also still letting me check Entei.
Moltres:
-Agility
-Flamethrower
-Hurricane
-Roost
Nature: Modest
EVs: 24 HP/252 SAtk/232 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Moltres allows me to counter Escavalier, which can do the same thing as Entei, only with Megahorn, even though Slowking's Scald can potentially burn it. It's also my late game cleaner.
Kabutops:
-Swords Dance
-Stone Edge
-Aqua Jet
-Rapid Spin
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: Lum Berry
Ability: Weak Armor
The Rapid Spinner of the team, which can clear away the Stealth Rock that Moltres hates, as well as the stray Spikes and Toxic Spikes thrown around.
Mow Rotom:
-Volt Switch
-Leaf Storm
-Hidden Power (Fire)
-Trick
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf
Mow Rotom is the team's revenge killer and check/counter to bulky Waters.
Some issues I've had with this team are stall teams that have Toxic Spikes and Spiritomb. None of my Pokemon like status one bit. Physically defensive Pokemon are kinda problematic if my special attackers are taken down, even though Gallade can use them as setup bait.
Some considerations:
-Cosmic Power Sigilyph may help me beat stall teams, assuming that there aren't any phazers around.
-Druddigon as an alternative Stealth Rock user, due to its offensive presence. Currently using defensive Druddigon; any thoughts on using offensive Druddigon instead?
-Spiritomb for dealing with Ghosts and Psychics
-Given the team's slowness, with Moltres and Mow Rotom (and to a lesser extent, Kabutops) picking up the pace, a faster Pokemon may be nice.
-A spinblocker like Spiritomb so that Stealth Rock can stay on the field.
