Rudy.. a quick question

    I'm not sure if this is in the right place, so it can be moved wherever it is appropriate..

    I have heard somewhere that the little girl which Misty saves is actually Rudy's daughter in the Japanese version. Can anybody confirm or deny this?

    This thread can be closed as soon as somebody can give me an answer..
     
    Well, their are people with japanese names, so they might know japanese.

    Yep, I think that was where I heard it also. I believe it was in the thread where people where posting who they thought suited Misty the best, and somebody posted Rudy, saying something like "so who cares if the little girl is actually his daughter in the Japanese version?"

    Of course, if it is true, who old is he? I've always assumed that he was the same age as Brock (they are the same height after all, though it might not seem so given the height of Brock's hair).
     
    His...daughter!? That's disturbing, to say the least. How could someone
    his age have a daughter? Wait, on second thought, I don't think I want
    to know... Where did this rumour come from, anyway?
     
    It's his sister, not his daughter. o_O People misunderstand things too much and try to exaggerate things to try to make it sound like alot of things are edited and changed. She's nothing more than his little sister. This is even said in the manga Toshiro Ono made.

    Really? Well, I'm relieved, to say the least.. I couldn't imagine her being his daughter anyway..

    I guess this thread can now be closed, if what Elite Trainer Raven said was true.
     
    As I said, people just try to find ways to make Pok?mon more taboo to try and make it seem like 4Kids edits out more than they should. It's like one of the bigger rumors that usually involved Takeshi being a pervert when he's just a lovesick guy.

    yep, according to Elite Trainer Raven, she's his sister. I guess it was just a rumour
